General Hospital spoilers and updates indicate that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is currently experiencing a nightmare due to the actions of Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
Sidwell is supplying Willow with a paralytic that simulates a stroke, yet it remains entirely undetectable in Drew’s system.
Drew’s Locked-In State Is Due To Being Drugged, All He Can Do Is Blink
Drew has been drugged into a locked-in state and has been unable to signal for help by blinking SOS.
Naturally, Sidwell essentially warned Drew that his attempts to communicate were in vain and that he could face a dire outcome if he did manage to alert anyone.
Due to the regular doses of drugs, Drew is unable to move or speak, transforming him from a villain into a victim in this narrative.
While it’s been intriguing to witness a more vulnerable side of Drew and perhaps even feel some sympathy for him, we believe it’s high time for a significant shift.
This storyline requires a vengeful Drew twist that could alter everything and engage fans with what lies ahead.
The Show Needs To Give Cameron Mathison A Chance To Think Vocally Inside His Head
At some juncture, the show really needs to provide Cameron Mathison the opportunity to record some dialogue so we can finally hear Drew’s perspectives. Drew’s voice has been muffled due to Sidwell and Willow’s plot, but that doesn’t mean fans shouldn’t have insight into his thoughts!
In the weeks to come, it would be fantastic for viewers to finally catch glimpses of what’s occurring in Drew’s mind. It would be exciting to hear Drew concocting plans for revenge against Sidwell and Willow while expressing frustration over his current situation.
Perhaps we might also get to hear Drew wishing he could support Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) and pledging to find an escape from this predicament.
Drew Is A Complex Character, Flawed, But He Really Does Love His Little Girl
Drew is a complex character who has made his share of mistakes, yet he genuinely loves Scout and aspires to be a father figure to her. Scout will certainly serve as a significant source of motivation for Drew as he strives to reclaim a stronger version of himself.
Additionally, revenge will be another driving force, as it’s clear that Drew is eager to see Willow and Sidwell face consequences for their actions.
Trouble may be on the horizon for Sidwell and Willow once Drew discovers a way to address the situation. While Cameron Mathison has been skillfully conveying emotion through his eyes, viewers would benefit from a deeper understanding of Drew’s internal struggles.

It was my guess that the only way his SOS would work is if someone who actually knew Morse code were to visit him. Someone with military or intelligence background. Even someone who was some type of scout. I don’t know if they teach that at Lila’s Kids, but if so any of the kids could know.
