General Hospital Spoilers: Drew’s Bombshell Twist Threatens Fake Stroke Plot & Willow’s Future

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) finally got his comeuppance thanks to Jens Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen).

After so many months of Drew wreaking havoc, he’s now trapped without the ability to speak or move other than blinking answers to questions.

Of course, Sidwell and Willow are the reason for Drew’s predicament. As long as Sidwell keeps supplying Willow with doses of that undetectable paralytic, Willow can keep drugging Drew and making everyone believe he’s a stroke victim.

Although it was somewhat satisfying to see Drew’s power stripped away, we can’t help but feel a little sorry for Drew in his current state.

Cameron Mathison is delivering a lot of emotion with just his eyes, so it’s easy to have some compassion – especially in those recent scenes with Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante).

However, this feels like the right time for the show to throw in a curveball that could shake up Drew’s fake stroke story. Sooner or later, it’d be great if fans could start hearing Drew’s actual thoughts and what he’s plotting.

You can bet that Drew is craving revenge on Sidwell and Willow. Drew may not know exactly how he’s going to wiggle out of this mess and pull that off, but vengeance is surely on his mind right now.

Cameron Mathison could easily record some lines and help viewers learn what’s going on in Drew’s brain. We can imagine a lot of the things Drew’s thinking, but it’d be awesome to actually hear Drew scheming while in this locked-in state.

That could start paving the way for Willow and Sidwell to potentially face a downfall of their own. The closer we get to the conclusion of this GH storyline, the better it’ll be if fans hear Drew’s thoughts and perhaps learn a desperate plan is forming.

Drew is Sidwell and Willow’s victim, but maybe he could get some assistance from Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) or someone else down the road.

Whatever the case, this story would suddenly feel fresher and more exciting if viewers were treated to a glimpse inside Drew’s head.

The show could deliver that by bringing us all the loop on Drew’s thoughts in the not-too-distant future, so stay tuned to see if that’s what might happen.
