General Hospital Spoilers: Drew’s Confusing Feelings, Opens Up To Curtis

General Hospital: Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that in spite of his admissions to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is having some confusing feelings.  Drew will open up to his old buddy Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to talk them out and figure out his next steps.

General Hospital Spoilers – It Seemed To Sneak Up

Drew’s intense feelings for Carly seemed to sneak up on him just as fast as Carly’s seemed to sneak up on her. It didn’t even seem like a slow burn, it was more like a raging fire with no notice; maybe he’s been pushing it down.  Drew’s been in love before, but this is different – it’s not the hot rush of hormones of his teenage years, yet it’s not the settled love of adulthood.

Drew and Carly both have been hesitant to go for it and it’s been for one reason; transferring love memories of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to him.  Drew told Carly early on that he was not going to be her Jason substitute, and she understood.

GH Spoilers – Taking It Really Slow

It was at the Quartermaine charity picnic that Drew and Carly realized their attraction was very strong, so strong in fact that they forgot about the grill on the deck. While they began to combust inside the boathouse, the grill caught fire, drawing the attention of Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). It was a rather embarrassing situation for both of them, especially with Carly’s ex showing up to put out the fire – on the grill. In the aftermath, he still couldn’t get what happened inside out of his mind even when routinely questioned by police about the attack on Ava Cassadine (Maura West) that happened later. They’ve been taking it really slow, but perhaps they should take it even slower considering the drama surrounding them and the family.

General Hospital Spoilers – The Two Buddies Talk

Curtis just got engaged and Drew congratulates him; when they first got to know each other Drew was involved with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Both Sam and Curtis were private investigators, and Jason had just reappeared, as Drew’s ex Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) had, and his son Oscar Nero (Garren Lake Stitt). Then, shortly after Oscar died, Drew was kidnapped and presumed dead for a couple of years; now he and Curtis have a buddy talk.

Curtis agrees that with the odd situation, Drew should take things slow until he knows Carly knows her heart. There’s that old saying about fools rushing in, and Drew isn’t anyone’s fool.
