General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) memory will return and change everything. You can bet a shocking moment is coming up for Drew, who’ll realize Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) has been guilty all along.
Drew has been obsessed with Willow for what feels like forever, so he’s put her on a pedestal and doesn’t want to believe she’d shoot him twice. At this point, Drew seemingly isn’t even considering the idea that Willow might actually have fired those shots.
However, Willow is indeed the culprit based on the flashbacks that fans witnessed in the January 8 episode. The show finally clued viewers in on what Willow was really up to that fateful night.
Of course, Drew has to be brought out of the dark sooner or later. During all the trial prep, Drew hinted about a memory that he couldn’t quite access, but he brushed it off in the end.
That memory has to come back into play as the story heats up. It’s just a matter of when exactly it’ll rush back to Drew and leave him reeling!
Now that GH has confirmed Willow was the shooter, the writers can lay the groundwork for the next phase of this storyline. They’re setting Drew up for a huge fall when he discovers his precious wife isn’t as sweet and innocent as he thought!
Drew didn’t seem suspicious or like the wheels were turning when Willow got that phone call from Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) while exiting the courtroom.
Unlike Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup), Drew hasn’t put that part of the puzzle together. Nevertheless, the ringtone could still be crucial for Drew at some point.
On the other hand, there might be some other memory that’ll help Drew discover Willow’s guilt instead. One way or another, there’ll be a moment when it all clicks for Drew down the road, so he’s bound to end up on an emotional rollercoaster.
Drew’s memory could change everything when it comes to how he treats Willow. It could cause Drew to kick Willow to the curb or maybe lead to him tightening his grip and basically acting like he owns her now.
Double jeopardy may keep Willow out of prison following her acquittal, but Drew could still vow revenge and sabotage her efforts to get her kids back if she doesn’t do whatever he says.
Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say Drew’s memory will give him updates on some jaw-dropping Willow news, so don’t miss the next story chapter. Be sure to make us your favorite GH hotspot for all the exciting General Hospital spoilers, news and updates you need!
