General Hospital Spoilers: Elizabeth Agrees To Help Nik With Esme’s Prenatal Care

General Hospital spoilers tease, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) has always been a caretaker. Everyone that comes into her life can testify to that. She’s not just a dedicated nurse. She’s a mom to three boys, and has often managed that job alone. She’s nurturing and respectful of others, especially those she holds dear to her heart. There might not be a friend left in Port Charles that goes back as far as Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) does in Elizabeth’s life.

They grew up together. They fell in — and out of — love. They have seen each other through heartbreaks, misfortune, tragedy, and many happy times. Now that Nikolas is faced with a new blend of emotions as he prepares to welcome his child with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), Elizabeth is the only person he has to turn to. Will she help him in his time of need?

General Hospital Spoilers — Esme Price Needs Prenatal Care

Esme has to be at least halfway through her pregnancy at this point. To Nikolas’ knowledge, she hasn’t sought any prenatal care yet. While pregnancy is normally a very natural process that women have been going through for centuries, and it’s more or less as safe to give birth at home as it is in a hospital, that rule applies to healthy women. Given that Esme fell from the parapet at Wyndemere and traveled upstream toward Canada where she was nursed back to health, no one really knows what kind of shape she is in.

GH Spoilers  – Indicate Nikolas Cassadine Needs An Alibi

Nikolas knew Elizabeth would trust him enough not to turn him in to the authorities when they questioned what happened on pier 55. General Hospital spoilers show Esme tried to make Nikolas feel less than secure, but it didn’t work. Nikolas and Liz go back longer than Esme has been alive, and they have each others’ backs no matter what. Nikolas is going to hope that still rings true when he tells Elizabeth what he has planned for the home birth of his child, and the child’s mother afterward. He’s going to need someone in his corner who will help him skirt any responsibility for Esme’s demise. Will Elizabeth help Nikolas stage Esme’s accidental death during childbirth?

Elizabeth has a lot on the line. On one hand, she really has no loyalty to Nikolas. This isn’t her problem, and she probably shouldn’t get wrapped up in it. He has no way to force her to. On the other hand, she’s already lied to the police about Nikolas being involved with Esme.

Still, that’s a far cry from homicide or practicing medicine without a license as she oversees Esme’s pregnancy. On the heels of the revelation she’s recently made about her own childhood and her parents, will Elizabeth welcome this distraction and get herself in too deep with Nikolas?
