General Hospital spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is ready to face the truth that she lost time again. Even though there is a danger that she will implicate both herself and her confidant, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) in Ava Cassadine’s (Maura West) attack she decides to come clean.
General Hospital Spoilers – Struggling With Guilt
Liz struggles with guilt over if her lying to the police to provide herself and Nikolas an alibi could prevent the PCPD from finding Ava’s attacker. She honestly couldn’t remember where she was or what she was doing at the time, and had told Nikolas that she had lost time again when they encountered each other. Liz doesn’t know where the blood on her forehead came from or why her hand seemed sore after she emerged from the woods either.
She said she ran into a tree branch in the woods when she was questioned. She knows that going to the police to admit she doesn’t know what happened will put Nik to the top of the suspect list.
GH Spoilers – She Doesn’t Believe He Did It
Elizabeth knows that there is some kind of problem between he and Ava and neither one is admitting what it is, but she truly doesn’t believe he would attack her. She discusses what she is thinking of doing with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and after that decides not to go to the police. However, she does feel like Ava needs to know what happened in order to protect herself, and decides to tell her everything. Ava doesn’t know what to make of Elizabeth’s endangering both her and Nikolas’ alibis, but she doesn’t believe he did it either. At the same time, she knows he took a hit out on Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) and had motive, means and opportunity to attack her.
General Hospital Spoilers – She’s Ready To Fill In The Blanks
After she finishes talking with Ava, Elizabeth is ready to move forward to fill in the blanks of her incomplete memories. She wants to know what happened the night Ava was attacked, but moreover, she wants to find out what she has repressed from her younger years. She realizes that there is a possibility she attacked Ava herself or at least was very close to the attack when it happened, because of the blood on her.
Elizabeth also realizes she could be putting her family in danger and she cannot allow that to happen. She determines to go forward with outside help to bring her repressed memories to the surface, no matter what they reveal.

I am rooting for Elizabeth completely, for her story of younger years of drama that has surfaced and she gets it out and gets freed from that horrible past that has haunted her.. I’ve enjoyed watching Elizabeth over the many years (50) of watching GH..Thank You GH for bring her story line out.. I hope the best for Elizabeth roles continue with the loving devoted Mother and excellent nurse she has been all these years..Since she has lost Franco ,,I do enjoy her with Finn the family outings, the family structure,,working field they have together,it is so enjoyable watching them all together…
