General Hospital Spoilers: Elizabeth Isn’t Just Esme’s Nurse — She’s Her Sister!

General Hospital spoilers tease Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) agreed to take care of Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and her baby only out of friendship to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), who believes there is a good chance the baby really is his.

However, the more time Elizabeth spends checking in on Esme, the more she’s going to feel a sense of responsibility to do right by both the baby and its mother. Furthermore, she is going to start feeling an almost maternal connection to Esme that she won’t be able to explain to herself.

Nikolas knew Elizabeth was the perfect candidate for helping him keep this secret from coming apart at the seams. He might have been able to trust a few other people in his corner with the fact that Esme was alive and pregnant with his child, but none of them would have the maternal instincts and knowledge that she does about pregnancy.

Together, he feels confident he and Elizabeth can pull this off without too many bumps in the road, provided everyone else stays out of their way and minds their own business. Elizabeth is an exemplary nurse and no one in Port Charles would say anything less than stellar about her bedside manner.

GH Spoilers – Tease Elizabeth Webber Is Also Esme Price’s Sister-in-Law

Elizabeth isn’t just a nurse though. She has an important connection to Esme that is going to be revealed as time passes. She may start to feel elements of this connection, too, but she won’t understand why. Liz might wonder if she’s losing her mind again, or remembering other repressed memories, because she will start to feel an eerie and unexplainable closeness with Esme. Why does it seem like she’s known her all her life?

Why does this sinister young mom-to-be feel so familiar to Nurse Baldwin? Could it be because Esme’s birth mother is the infamous Heather Webber (Alley Mills), and that makes Esme and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) half-siblings — making Esme and Elizabeth sisters-in-law?

In addition to being related by Elizabeth’s marriage to her late husband, Esme is connected to Elizabeth in another intriguing way, but it won’t come to light for much longer. At least, Elizabeth won’t know about it. We can trust that other pivotal players in the scheme against her already do. What will Elizabeth do when she finds out Esme is also her half-sister, and that Jeff cheated (again) on her mom with his own ex-wife, Heather?
