Seeing that Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) supposedly had a stroke, and was locked-in just like Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), she’ll wonder how he’s back to work so quickly!
Nina Reeves Stopped Dosing Jack With The Paralytic Several Weeks Ago
Unlike Drew, who’s been dosed on a continual basis for several months, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) stopped dosing Jack with the paralytic several weeks ago-he may have gotten one additional dose from Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen).
GH fans will remember that Nina accidentally stabbed Jack with Drew’s syringe in a fight, when she tried to aim for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Jack faked it for several weeks while Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) was still alive, until he figured it out and tried to kill him with carbon monoxide-Nina got there just in time to save him.
So, when Elizabeth, who set up for Drew to have a more advanced method of communication than blinks sees Jack, whose locked-in syndrome seemed just as bad back at work-she becomes suspicious!

She, along with a couple of others including Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) were already suspicious about two men in very good shape suddenly stroking out in the same house!
Elizabeth And Dante Have Begun Becoming Closer
Recently, Elizabeth and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) have begun becoming closer, bonding through their issues surrounding his son Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).
It was Elizabeth who cracked the case wide open to Dante that Rocco’s hand wound was a slide bite from a gun, not a kitchen knife cut as the cover story was.
That was concocted by Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and she kept the lie going until it was finally exposed.

Now that Dante, Lulu and Rocco are back, since Cullum is dead and no longer a danger, Dante is relaxing about that for a little bit at least, but he and Elizabeth are still talking.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has returned, but Dante will likely still be acting Port Charles Police Commissioner for just a little bit longer, so Elizabeth shares her suspicions with him.

Elizabeth tells Dante there’s something strange about how Brennan’s recovery from the same condition as Drew had happened so quickly-he’s already out of Turning Woods.
She had intended to try and get him on the same more advanced communication system as she’s recently ordered for Drew to learn, but he’s already back to working!
She saw him in the hospital going to check on Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) like nothing had ever happened!
Dante agrees that does seem strange although he wonders if it’s because of Drew’s previous injuries-being beaten in prison badly, with a head injury and then the two bullets.
Elizabeth doesn’t think that would be a factor-but she’ll run it by a neurologist; and Dante will keep an eye on the case, since no one else has ever been charged!
