In the episode that aired on December 5, fans of GH were delighted by an unexpected twist when two familiar faces from the past made an appearance in Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) nightmare.

The first to show up was Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), who came to haunt his beloved sister. Following him, Esme made her entrance, confronting Laura and unleashing her fury over the suffering she had endured because of her actions.

Naturally, these dramatic moments were merely a figment of Laura’s troubled dream, leaving the door open for speculation about Esme’s actual fate.

Although Esme was believed to have met her end after plunging into the Seine, there remains a possibility that she could resurface alive in the future.

“I like to imagine that she’s off enjoying a little getaway somewhere-perhaps she’s still in France, or maybe she’s riding a camel in Morocco. I really can’t say for sure, but I refuse to believe she’s dead-my personal rule is that if there’s no body, then you’re not dead,” Pohl chuckled.

Despite Avery Kristen Pohl’s recent brief return, she expressed that stepping back into Esme’s character was a delightful experience. With Esme’s intricate personality, Pohl confessed that she’s the most enjoyable character she’s ever played.

She also relished the opportunity to reconnect with some of her old castmates, particularly Genie Francis, who featured in her dream sequence.
