General Hospital Spoilers: Esme and Portia Conspire to End Sprina

General Hospital spoilers reveal Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) has been hard at work trying to cozy up to Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). For the time being, Esme seems pretty clueless about Portia’s intentions.

But Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) mom is not one to give up easily. When she takes note of Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) tearing into Esme soon, Portia just might overstep the boundaries that her daughter has put in place by suggesting that she can help Esme out.

When it becomes clear that all Esme really wants is for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) to bond with her, and give her another chance, Portia is going to tell Esme the easiest way to Spencer’s heart is clearly through his brother. Is it though?

Word on the street is that there is one thing that would strike a chord with Spencer more than his baby brother, Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay), does. And that is having a child of his own. Certainly, Portia is not going to suggest that Spencer and Trina have a baby.

Moreover, she’s not going to suggest that Esme burden herself with a second child when she can barely afford to take care of the first one. But what if there was a way to convince Spencer that Ace it’s not his baby brother, but his son? Perhaps there is.

GH Spoilers Hint Spencer is Stunned

When Portia sends Esme home with information on insurance, the young mother will have to convey to Spencer that she needs his help. The only way to prove that Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is Ace’s dad is for Spencer to do a DNA test alongside Ace.

This will all seem like a routine matter of course to Spencer and there’s no reason that he shouldn’t cooperate with her. But rest assured, that DNA test is not going to come back showing that Spencer is Ace’s brother if Portia has anything to do with it. Rather, it’ll come back with the news that Spencer is a daddy.

General Hospital Spoilers — Trina Can’t Take This Anymore

Having to break the news to Trina that he is suddenly a father is going to crush Spencer. However, that doesn’t mean that he will be unhappy about it. Suddenly, he will have a lot more control than he ever did in this custody situation.

Control delights Spencer, but so does Ace, and honestly, Esme is starting to have an effect on him, too. Nothing has been more important to him than making sure Ace is well cared for and brought up in a home full of love. Now, he has a stronger chance than ever of ensuring that Ace’s upbringing is solid.

However, this is going to leave his relationship with Trina on very shaky ground – which is exactly what her mother intended. As Spencer grows into his role as a father, Trina may find herself feeling like she doesn’t fit into his life anymore.
