General Hospital Spoilers: Esme Caught Off Guard, Ryan Lurks?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will be caught off guard in a future episode of GH; she was banned from Spring Ridge. Did her birth father Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) break out on his own?

General Hospital Spoilers: Esmé Prince Was Supposed To Help Ryan Chamberlain Escape At The Right Time

Esmé was supposed to help Ryan escape at the right time to carry out their plots and plans together; he has been faking his locked-in syndrome the whole time. But thanks to Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and her interference, Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) canceled Esmé’s Spring Ridge internship and banned her from the facility. He likely put a restriction on any mail going to Ryan from Esmé as well, and Ryan probably figured out what happened.

But without Esmé’s assistance, Ryan will have a much more difficult time carrying out his plots and plans. However, he has been known to do some pretty unexpected things even with only one hand, although impersonating his brother will no longer be one of them!

GH Spoilers: Always Expect The Unexpected With Ryan Chamberlain

If there is one thing that Kevin, Felicia, and anyone else who’s tangled with Ryan over the years has learned, is to always expect the unexpected with Ryan! Kevin never expected his twin to have survived that fire in the funhouse in Canada all those years ago, only to have the DVX contact him many years later. Whether the memory transfer experiments performed by Dr. Arthur Cabot (Time Winters) on Ryan and Kevin were before or after Ryan presumably died is unknown; Kevin thought he refused. Yet he had none of Ryan’s memories the way that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) had Alexandra Devane Marick’s (Finola Hughes), but they could have been brainwashed away. For Ryan to escape Spring Ridge on his own would not be entirely unexpected by Esmé yet he could catch her off guard!

Esmé was very upset when Kevin took away her internship and got her banned from Spring Ridge; she’s even blackmailed Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) into trying to get her reinstated. If Spring Ridge was part of the deal when he bought Pentonville Prison that could be possible; but if not, even Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) influence only goes so far! Otherwise, he could have gotten Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) sentence completely dropped and he wouldn’t have had any prison time at all!

Esmé is caught off guard, however, when she spots her birth father lurking on Spoon Island; she worries he made a mistake and also wonders how he got there! It turns out there are tunnels under Port Charles she didn’t know about and one is near Spring Ridge, goes under the ocean and ends on the island!

GH Spoilers: Now Esmé Prince Has Another Secret To Keep

Now Esmé has another secret to keep and a something else to hide – and he’s a big problem, once he’s discovered to be gone. Ryan tells her not to worry – there are secret rooms in Wyndemere Castle and he knows how to get to them out of them as he pleases. Now instead of Esmé helping him hide in plain sight in Spring Ridge, she helps him hide by creating distractions when he comes and goes in and out of the castle. He only comes out and back in at night just like they planned, he just has to time his goings and comings more carefully! When it comes time to make his move for Ava Cassadine (Maura West) she is to make sure no one else is in the castle!
