General Hospital Spoilers: Esmé Prince Thinks She’s Got The Goods On This Tough Customer

Esmé thinks she’s got the goods on this tough customer, and bartender Oz is about as tough as they come. She thinks she can railroad him into refusing to testify she bought the black market phone from him that she used to film revenge porn and stream it on the net. But Esmé doesn’t realize who she’s dealing with – he’s knee deep in crimes that would make Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) blush.

Seems odd that Esmé would be afraid of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) yet thinks that Oz should be afraid of her. He didn’t go into hiding for selling counterfeit Girl Scout cookies, after all – she might wind up calling Sonny for help.

GH Spoilers: Oz Haggerty Might Be Cutting Himself A Deal With Curtis Ashford

Esmé doesn’t realize that Oz might be cutting himself a deal with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to testify against her. It is almost for sure that Port Charles Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) is on it, police commissioners, district attorneys and defense attorneys work out deals all the time. Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Arden (Jennifer Field) and Attorney Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) are likely already working out behind-the-scenes details.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Esmé can’t guarantee Oz that the law won’t come down on him for his own laundry list of crimes if he doesn’t help her avoid her own arrest. A guy like Oz Haggerty is far more interested in saving his own hide than an entitled acting little twerp’s like Esmé.

General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos May Have The Reputation, But Oz Haggerty Has The Moves

Esmé is scared of Sonny, because he has the reputation; but Sonny hasn’t been fulltime mob for ages; he fought against Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) not with him. Sonny may have the reputation, but Oz had the moves; Oz is likely connected to more mob figures and criminals than Sonny is right now. Esmé really doesn’t have a lot to bargain with and Oz doesn’t like her attitude; her demands turn to cajoling and tears as he stares her down.

Tears and flirtation don’t work on a backstreets thug like Oz, and she doesn’t have the access to the Cassadine billions like he thinks. He laughs in her face and assumes she must be the Cassadines’ maid when she says she can’t pay him off and give him a fake passport!

GH Spoilers: Oz Haggerty Isn’t Threatened By The Names She Drops

Esmé is really desperate when she drops Sonny and Ryan’s names in trying to make threats – she doesn’t even stop to think she’s betraying her birth father’s secret. Ryan has been faking his locked-in syndrome for a couple of years and she could be leading him to Steinmauer with her stupidity. Sonny won’t help her he knows she’s guilty of framing Trina and has been working behind the scenes himself to prove it. Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) would step on a thug like Oz and scrape him off his shoe, but he’s on Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) side, not Esmé’s. Nothing she can do or say will stop Oz from squealing like a greased pig, and she’s the one who’s going down, not him!
