General Hospital Spoilers: Esme Prince: Forgetful, Or Faking it? — Here’s What We Know

General Hospital Spoilers hint Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is hanging onto this amnesiac bit, and the longer she does, the more at least a few onlookers are suspecting it’s not all for show. While Esme continues to insist she doesn’t know where she’s been for the last six months, it seems far too convenient to everyone else that she can’t recall the information that could implicate her in the hook deaths. In contrast, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) know where she’s been for the last two months and that such information would exonerate her of the crimes. So, is Esme really benefiting herself at all by forgetting to mention she’s been held captive against her will and couldn’t possibly be responsible for killing anyone?

General Hospital Spoilers — Kevin Collins Has A Face To Remember

When Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) first walked into Esme’s hospital room, it took only seconds for her to spring up in her bed and insist with confidence that she knew his face. This may have gone over anyone else’s head but Kevin instantly thought about his brother at that moment.

Unable to further understand Esme’s interest or connection in Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), Kevin didn’t bring it up, but we know what he was thinking. Esme very likely remember’s Kevin’s face because he shares it with his identical twin brother, who is her birth father. If Esme were feigning her memory loss, it wouldn’t benefit her to put this on Kevin’s radar.

GH Spoilers – Tease Her Memory Loss Could Protect Her

Sure, not remembering a single thing about her recent life could serve to protect Esme from prosecution, but not if the PCPD and DA already have evidence against her that puts her at the point of any crime. They might want her for The Hook crimes, but she’s already the prime suspect in the sex tape scandal, which is mostly being glossed over right now. As Esme gets her bearings, the PCPD may expect she could start to recall memories. That doesn’t mean she’ll come clean about what she remembers though if it’s going to benefit her to stay quiet.

General Hospital Spoilers — Esme Price Doesn’t Know Her Own Name, and There May Be a Reason For That

When Esme first came into the hospital room, she was asked if she could tell the staff her name, and she said she could not. There may be a reason for this that extends beyond an act or amnesia. Esme Prince may not be Esme Prince. We don’t really know how far back her agenda extends, but it’s entirely possible she targeted Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) in the first place because he was a link to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), and Ryan wanted Esme to needle her way into their lives. Esme might also have her own reasons for targeting the Cassadine family — and that of Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), starting with the break-up of her adoptive parents’ marriage.
