General Hospital Spoilers: Esme Struggles After Learning She Had An Affair With Spencer’s Dad, A Married Man

General Hospital spoilers reveal Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is having a hard time reconciling the kind of young woman she must be if she was willing to sleep with her own boyfriend’s father. Sure, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) claims she and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) had already broken up, but Esme doesn’t know if that’s true.

All she knows is Spencer was kind to her and asked nothing of her. Furthermore, he came to visit her right away. Nikolas, on the other hand, waited a month after she was hospitalized, which strikes Esme as odd if he is the father of her baby. The more these men circle around her with their claims to her baby, the more she wants to jump ship. When someone convinces her to do just that, she may oblige, but she won’t be in the best shape for going on the run.

General Hospital Spoilers — Esme is Vulnerable

Esme is distraught, and we can be certain that Heather Webber (Alley Mills) is going to prey on her during this vulnerable time. She’s pretending to relate to her as one mother to another mother, versus actually telling Esme she is her mother. However, that revelation may come soon enough because Heather and Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) are both ready to jump ship with Esme before she risks having her baby in Spring Ridge and he or she being taken away from her. They might not be able to convince Esme to leave with them without first telling her who they are to her and why she can trust them.

GH Spoilers Hint Ryan and Heather Take Advantage

Even though they might be able to get Esme in their corner and believing they are her birth parents, that doesn’t mean she is on board with everything they want. In addition, Ryan and Heather don’t necessarily want the same things. Ryan still has scores to settle with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), and he won’t leave Port Chuck without making sure they know he’s mobile, lucid, and not locked up.

However, Heather just wants to ditch Ryan altogether so she can have their daughter and grandchild all to herself. She never was one for sharing. Heather may also see her grandchild as a way for her to live out her dream of being a mother again, but she will have to manipulate Esme into giving her some considerable control over her situation before that can happen.

Rumor has it that Esme is going to give birth soon after she goes on the run with Heather and Ryan. They’ll have to get clever to make sure she can have the baby somewhere safe. Might that place be Wyndemere — where they think Nikolas may offer some kind of safe harbor since it is his child at risk? When they find Ava there instead, things could go incredibly wrong. GH spoilers confirm at least one death will occur and there might be blood on Esme’s hands, though it’s hard to discern who will end up the guilty party.
