General Hospital Spoilers: Esme Won’t Give Up Baby,

General Hospital spoilers tease Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) has big plans for Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and her baby. He’s recently shared his ideas with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), who passed them on to Esme. So far, she’s been biding her time in the north tower trying to figure out a way out of that place.

As the days continue to pass without any luck figuring out a Plan B, Esme will have to start coming to terms with what is going to happen after the baby is born. Nikolas seems intent on keeping his child and practically disposing of Esme. Is that what she wants though? Is she even in a position to negotiate?

General Hospital Spoilers — Nikolas Cassadine Is Done With Esme Price

He already told her as much. Nikolas has no interest in dealing with Esme. She’s only there because she’s carrying his child. Once the baby is born, he’s washing his hands of her. What does that mean? Will he continue to take care of her as she takes up residence on one of his Greek islands like he told Elizabeth? Will he cut her out of her child’s life, or will he bring the child to visit her since it’ll never be safe for her to come back to the states? Does he plan to turn her over to the PCPD and let law enforcement take the reins?

GH Spoilers – Indicate Esme Price Isn’t Feeling Either Of Those Options

There’s a problem brewing. Esme doesn’t actually want to be separated from her baby. She knows she doesn’t have much wiggle room seeing as how she’s on the hook for the sex tape scandal. It’s likely she’s going to do some hard time, and her baby won’t be coming with her obviously. So she knows the child is best left in the care of his or her father — Nikolas. Still, she hates the idea of the baby growing up with Nikolas without her influence. Will she be able to negotiate being able to see her child if she stays in Port Charles and decides to take the blame for her crime and serve whatever sentence is imposed?

General Hospital Spoilers — Nikolas Cassadine Disagrees

When Esme hints to Nikolas that she may not want to go anywhere after all, he’s going to tell her that’s not an option and that his hospitality runs out when she has the baby. He may be so kind as to let her recover from childbirth at Wyndemere, but she isn’t invited for a long-term stay and he doesn’t suggest lingering because it’ll only make it harder for her to leave the baby behind. Is Elizabeth going to be within earshot during these conversations, because the reality of the pain she must know Esme would have to endure to abandon her child is sure to strike a nerve with her, whether she admits to it or not.
