General Hospital Spoilers: Esme’s Nanny Is Already In Port Charles — Right Under Her Nose

General Hospital Spoilers hint the hunt for Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) nanny, Maggie Fitzgerald, is going to take Sam McCall (Katelyn MacMullen) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) halfway around the world. They’re headed to London, England soon to explore what lurks in Esme’s past — with her consent. The naive criminal mastermind seems to have no idea where she came from, and Sam is fixated on finding out. The irony is that when the truth comes out, Sam and Dante will know they never had to look any further than Esme to find her beloved nanny.

General Hospital Spoilers — Who Is Maggie Fitzgerald?

When Esme first came to Port Charles, she didn’t speak much about her life or family back home. We know she’s adopted, and we knew her adoptive parents died in the midst of divorcing one another after a third party allegedly ripped their family apart. Esme never mentioned how that happened or who cheated, but she did seem furious with that person, and it has left us wondering if she was targeting someone back in Port Charles because they tore her family apart.

Nonetheless, the only person who Esme kept in touch with was her nanny, Maggie, who seemed to enjoy checking in with her about Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and warned her to steer clear of her birth father. It was clear that Maggie seemed to know who Esme’s birth father was and that he was somewhere in New York state.

GH Spoilers – Say It’s Heather Webber!

Surprise! Word has it Heather Webber (Alley Mills), Esme’s birth mother, is also Esme’s nanny. In a twisted turn of events, we may find out that Heather tracked Esme down in Europe and was the cause of her adoptive parents’ deaths. She may have also played the role of a woman who interfered in her adoptive parents’ marriage if she tempted Esme’s adoptive father into an affair. Some fans may wonder how this is possible since Heather is in Spring Ridge, but she wasn’t locked up just a few years ago — unless we count her trip to Shadybrook, from which she escaped.

This kind of ploy is right in Heather’s wheelhouse. In fact, when Heather got pregnant by Jeff Webber (William R. Moses) years ago with their son, Steven Lars Webber (Scott Reeves), she sold the baby to a nurse named Diana Taylor (Brooke Bundy). She lied to Jeff and said she miscarried while she began to work as a nanny for Diana and her husband, caring for her own child. Heather might have botched that setup for herself, but she has since learned from her mistakes and pulled it off well with Esme and her family. Will Sam and Dante figure out the truth about Maggie before it’s too late — before Heather convinces Esme to break out of Spring Ridge and go on the run?
