General Hospital spoilers tease Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) has been on her best behavior as of late. She moved out of Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) and Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) place, and she has even made moves toward taking responsibility for her bad behavior from the past.

Apologizing to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) yet again — and thanking her for supporting Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) when she moved out — Esme was the most mature that Trina has ever seen her. This could signal the beginning of Trina putting her guard down, and that may be just what Esme secretly wants.

Esme thought that decreasing the amount of face time she had with Spencer would help her bury her blossoming feelings for him, but so far, that’s not what has happened.

Instead, she’s finding reasons to just swing by, and she’s feeling encouraged to connect with other people who are in his life just to keep herself in that orbit.

Was her play for Trina’s forgiveness and respect really just that, or is Esme thinking cozying up to Trina will make it easier for her to weasel her way in between Spencer and his woman?

Esme might be enjoying being on her own with Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) right now, but that doesn’t mean all is perfect in paradise.

In the past, when Ace hadn’t been feeling well, was teething, or simply had a bad day and couldn’t sleep well, Esme often relied on Spencer to relieve her of the crying.

Every mother needs that from time to time. Trina was right; Spencer stepped into the father role for Ace rather than being his big brother. But until now, Esme didn’t realize she actually liked that.
