General Hospital Spoilers: Esme’s Shock-Runs Into Ryan, He Reverses Her Amnesia?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will be in for a shock! Might she run into Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) who reverses her amnesia?

General Hospital Spoilers – He Learned A Lot While Impersonating His Twin

Ryan’s medical training was actually as a pediatrician, but he learned a lot of psychiatric and psychological things while impersonating his brother Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom). Ryan had access for several months to his brother’s office and even took over his patients at GH and learned, among other things, how to implant hypnotic suggestions. That might be how Ryan learned to pretend having locked-in syndrome so expertly as well, having access to all of Kevin’s books.

No one would be surprised if Ryan knew how to reverse traumatic amnesia, and even though Heather Webber (Alley Mills) doesn’t want them having contact it could happen. She can’t keep eyes on Esmé every single second although she does her best to protect her from other inmates.

GH Spoilers – Esmé Prince Had A Hint Of Recognition

Esmé did have a hint of recognition of Kevin when he briefly visited her in her room at General Hospital, although he didn’t get a chance to do very much. This was before Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) chased him off in protection of his client, although Kevin was just trying to evaluate her amnesia.

That means when she accidentally runs into Ryan, seeing him could spark something in her memory and all he’d have to do is figure out what might trigger the rest. Esmé’s legal defense might go down the tubes, unless Ryan encourages her to keep faking her amnesia, however because then she would be competent to stand trial. Right now that amnesia is all that’s keeping her from going to trial, so it behooves her not to remember her past.

General Hospital Spoilers – Esmé Prince Shocked To Remember

Ryan may get enough time with her to bring her out of her amnesia, and she’ll be shocked to remember what she’s done; but she’ll remember bad along with good. Esmé was a different girl without her memories of what she’d done, and she’ll unfortunately remember her desperate escape from the north tower. But that may not be the biggest shock for Esmé, once she goes back to the womens’ side of Spring Ridge.

When Heather encounters Esmé and sees her memories are back, Esmé will remember how desperately she wanted to know about her birth mother. She might realize that Heather is paying all this attention to her and protecting her because that’s exactly who she is!
