After Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is defeated and taken down, Ava will have new opportunities come her way, yet there are lingering rivalries that will persist.
She’ll also come into conflict with Sonny Corinthos, (Maurice Benard) and she’ll be driven to forge a crucial alliance that will have lasting consequences.

Chances are, Ethan and Ava’s relationship will be one of fire and ice-given their two opposite personalities, yet, they’ll have more in common then they realize.
Ethan has pulled off plenty of cons in his past, but Ava’s pulled off a few herself-including pretending to be a non-existent cousin when she was thought to be dead.
Ava may be reformed now-or at least semi-reformed-but she’s done some horrible things in the past and has no room to talk about anything Ethan’s done.
Ethan has no room to talk about anything Ava’s done either-as long as she continues to keep the secret she THINKS she’s figured out about him being Phoebe Wilson’s (Luna and Lucia Creighton) father.

It seems that they will evolve from annoyance to love, from rejection to protection, although it likely won’t be overnight.
It will be interesting to see how Ethan and Ava’s relationship evolves over the summer months, and how he may interact with Ava and Sonny’s daughter Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) as well.
However, whether this romance will be one for the books, or just one for the summer, remains to be seen!
