General Hospital Spoilers: Ethan Drops Bio Dad Bombshell – Ava Now Holds a Life-Changing Secret

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the complicated relationship between Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) will take center stage this summer.

Ethan is on the verge of making a big admission that could change everything, so Ava will become the keeper of a huge secret.

Like Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Ava jumped to conclusions when she saw that pic of Ethan and Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone) together.

Ethan was happy to lean into those wrong connected dots to make it seem like he was the father of Delilah’s baby girl.

Of course, GH fans now know that Ethan was lying. Since Ethan stole evidence from a cold case for a DNA sample swap, it’s obvious he made the switch to cover up the fact that he’s not Phoebe’s bio dad.

Although there’s been some tension between Ava and Ethan, there’s some chemistry between them, too.

Ethan and Ava certainly seem intrigued by each other, so that’s going to be important as the show moves into the next phase of their storyline.

Ava made it clear that she expects Ethan to run interference with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in exchange for her keeping Phoebe-related info under wraps.

Ethan indeed helped Ava deal with Sonny recently, so he’s navigating the situation as best as he can.

It looks like Ethan will find other ways to come to Ava’s rescue in the coming weeks – and perhaps not just with Sonny! Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) could still pose a threat to Ava along with other foes who might enter the picture.

Ethan will do his part to protect Ava and will grow closer to her in the process. That’ll lead to Ethan getting vulnerable and making a stunning admission according to summer preview spoilers.

Ethan is going to spill a secret that could send shockwaves if it got out. It certainly sounds like Ethan is about to admit he’s not Phoebe’s true father and perhaps tell Ava who actually is.
