General Hospital spoilers indicate Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) as a woman on a mission. She came back to Port Charles with clear plans to overhaul ELQ and get the family business back into shipshape.
Of course, she’s not letting her family know that. The last thing any of them want to hear is that she thinks they’re not doing a good job. If she can do better, she will, and scoop up the praise for it later. Right now she needs to get down to business, and that means shoving people out of her way and closing the doors to new blood coming into ELQ.
This family does not need another illegitimate Quartermaine showing up on my doorstep. Sorry, Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth). Introducing Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) into the family business caused quite a stir, and Tracy intends to clean that up, too.
General Hospital Spoilers — Deception Decepticon
When Tracy struck a deal with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), helping her to secure Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) position on the police force, she already knew what she was going to want in return.
Brook Lynn was forced to go back to working at Deception only a week after she quit. Why? Well, to help her Granny carry out corporate espionage, of course. What interest does Tracy have in a major cosmetics company? None.
She would tell us, “don’t be silly.” Tracy’s interest in Deception has nothing to do with makeup and everything to do with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). Lucy’s tiebreaking decision for ELQ really upended things, and Tracy wants to see to it that it can never happen again.
GH Spoilers – Claim Valentin Cassadine Is In The Way
Valentin was also brought into the fold and — at the time — it seemed like a good idea for Ned to hold onto his company and his position in it. But now Valentin is just in the way, and Tracy is cleaning house.
When everyone thought Valentin was dead, his shares were bequeathed to his daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (AnaSofia Bianchi). Laura Collins (Genie Francis) refused to let Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) or anyone else purchase them. As such, Tracy sees it as her duty to get those shares away from Valentin — and soon.
General Hospital Spoilers — Ned Quartermaine’s Condition Suits Tracy Quartermaine’s Plans
Coma or not, Ned’s weakened condition suits Tracy’s needs right now. Sure, it was touch and go there for a minute, but that didn’t stop Tracy from working on his behalf, and it won’t stop her from working against him if she has to either.
If Ned isn’t able to call the shots and make major decisions, Tracy may try to take that power out from under him. Is anyone going to try to stop her at a time like this?
We may be surprised to see Drew rise to such an occasion – especially given the tension between him and Ned right now. Stay tuned for more General Hospital news in spoilers just a head to see how this pans out.
