Dante begins the investigation and the interrogations as he walks into Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) apartment past a uniformed cop (uncredited) taking notes.

Dante explains what happened to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) over scenes of Jordan and District Attorney Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) puzzling over the incident. Dante tells Jordan that Anna claims that when she left her apartment, she locked the door, and when she got back it was unlocked.

Dante continues the narrative to Jordan, saying that Anna thought she saw an intruder with a weapon and she’d fired her gun.

Charlotte, dressed as the hermit from the tarot cards was all in black, the room was dark, and she had a black flashlight that didn’t light up pointed at Anna.

GH Spoilers: Worries

Dante will also interview Jake, who arrives at the scene just after Charlotte was shot and obtain additional details as to how Charlotte slipped away from their trick or treating group. Jake rushes to GH after 911 is called and worries to his mother, head nurse Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) about Charlotte’s medical condition; he likely answers Dante’s questions first.

Charlotte has serious injuries where Anna shot her in the stomach at relatively close range; Jake, his voice filled with emotion, asks Elizabeth if Charlotte is going to be okay.

Elizabeth is worried too, on the verge of tearing up as Jake expresses his concern after using his Halloween costume to help stop the bleeding until the paramedics arrived.

General Hospital Spoilers: More Questions

At the Invader office, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is nearly in tears at the news of what has happened to her young relative. Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) helps her with ethical questions as he asks the big question, what was Charlotte doing in that apartment to begin with?

Alexis likely has no doubt that young Charlotte was brainwashed somehow by Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) while he had her in private boarding school last summer.

And how do they report on what has happened, with Anna possibly charged with Charlotte’s shooting-assuming she survives! That’s another big question for Alexis and Gregory.

GH Spoilers: The Slap Heard Around The World!

Valentin, who had been on the hunt for Charlotte after taking Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) home, receives word and arrives at the hospital.

He, too, will check in with Elizabeth at the nurses’ station, prior to Jake’s arrival-Elizabeth screaming at him wanting to know where her son is! At some point, Anna and Valentin intersect on a staircase; it looks like the same one Peter August (Wes Ramsey) took a trip down.

On a landing of the staircase Anna flies into a fury, livid at what has taken place in the past few hours! She whirls around, practically knocking Valentin off his feet with a slap to the face!
