General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of Monday, February 5-Friday, February 9, 2024, tease saying sad goodbyes, requests for cooperation and no one is innocent!

Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) friends and family have difficulty saying sad goodbyes, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) requests cooperation and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) regards no one innocent until proven otherwise!

General Hospital Spoilers: Saying Sad Goodbyes

At the Port Charles cemetery, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) kneels by a small grave where Spencer Cassadine has a headstone laid with white flowers on the grave.

Since no body has been recovered, perhaps they bury some of his belongings as was done for Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) which will be another sad reminder.

Alexis sadly asks how are we expected to say goodbye to Spencer-feeling guilty for not noticing changes in Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl)?

In the background, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) Hamilton Finn, (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) can be seen as well as Kevin and Laura Collins, (Jon Lindstrom, Genie Francis).

GH Spoilers: Request For Cooperation

At the hotel room where Anna and Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) bust of an arms dealer, O’Neil (Jeff Leaf) was interrupted, Anna asks John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) for cooperation.

Cates tells Anna and Jordan they’re interfering in an FBI investigation and wants them to butt out-Anna asks him to bring them in, they can work together.

Apparently it was his men who took Jordan in and questioned her, later letting her go-he tells Jordan and Anna they should have listened. He’s the special agent in charge and apparently isn’t taking into account his years of knowing Anna.

General Hospital Spoilers: No One Is Innocent

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) confides the attack on his private island to Dante, saying somebody almost took him out; Dante says we question everyone.

Everyone must be presumed guilty until proven otherwise, which of course is backwards to the usual presumption of innocence until proven guilty.

But this is the process of investigation and ruling out of suspects until the right one is proven-and several possible persons of interest are shown.

Cyrus Renault, (Jeff Kober) who shows up at Spencer’s funeral, an angry Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) who was with Sonny. Even Kevin and Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) can’t be ruled out as persons of interest!
