General Hospital Spoilers: Fans Fear Y&R May Be Courting James Patrick Stuart

General Hospital spoilers reveal that James Patrick Stuart could be leaving The Young and the Restless for the legendary ABC soap. Then again, looks can be deceiving!

James (Valentin) posted a photo to Instagram that is causing quite a stir in the soap world due to the people he’s surrounded by including being flanked by two Y&R actors. On one side of James is Eric Braeden who plays Victor Newman and on the other side is Ray Wise who has portrayed Ian Ward in the past, with the caption: “With Billy Zane, Ray Wise, Eric Braeden, Jen O’Dell and Peter Jason at CBS yesterday. Lotta laughs.”

Fans were quick to comment about James’ status on GH, with one saying, “Great pic! But, please say you aren’t leaving GH! I love how you play Valentin,” and another writing, “Love the pic but please tell me you’re not leaving GH 😢You are such an amazing actor!”

General Hospital Spoilers – Why is James Patrick Stuart hanging out with Eric Braeden?

So, what gives, what’s the real story behind the picture? Is it possible that James is jumping ship from his GH role as Valentin to play an as-yet-unnamed character on Y&R?

At this point, all conjecture of that sort is just that—speculation.

It appears that James’ appearance at CBS likely has something to do with Eric Braden’s 40th anniversary on Y&R as there are balloons in the background as well as a giant portrait of the great actor.

General Hospital spoilers – What will James (Valentin Cassidine) do next on GH?

I think it’s safe to say that fans can expect to see James on GH as Valentin for the foreseeable future. Of course, that means he will be kicking up a lot of drama and mischief since his latest move looks like he will be part owner of ELQ if he is able to buy Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) shares, that is!
