General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that a feud over The Invader could turn to romance for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison). It wouldn’t be the first time on GH that a feud could cause sparks of the sexy kind!

General Hospital Spoilers – Alexis Davis Is Ripe For A Romance But With Whom?

There’s no doubt that Alexis is ripe for a romance, but with whom, that’s the big question; GH fans thought when Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) got out of prison they’d reconcile. Indeed, the subject came up but she just wasn’t ready to move on yet – and then he moved to California and left her with The Invader! Shawn still owns the paper, but he left her in charge, moving to the San Francisco area to take over the west coast operations of The Banner.

Viewers of One Life To Live will remember that was the paper owned by the Lord family and they needed someone to take their west coast operations over. Now that Alexis has obtained closure over what really happened the night Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) died, she might be able to move on with someone new.

GH Spoilers – Alexis Davis Started To Sizzle With Hamilton Finn A Few Years Back

Viewers will remember that Alexis started to sizzle with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) a few years back, but it turned out they were better friends than lovers. Finn is still her go-to person if she’s tempted to drink, but he’s really not in the market now since he’s moved on with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). But there is someone else who might be in the market to move on who’s returning to Port Charles – Finn’s dad, Professor Gregory Chase! After many years of marriage to Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) they were in the midst of divorcing a few months ago; it could be finalized by now. Viewers can imagine him relocating to Port Charles because of his sons and his granddaughter, Violet Finn (Jophielle Love).

General Hospital Spoilers – Gregory Chase Was A Professor At Berkley University

Gregory was a professor at Berkley University in California, but it was never disclosed exactly what he taught. It makes sense that he may have been a professor of journalism which might explain how he wound up with Jackie, a famous reporter who once lived in Port Charles. If Gregory is relocating to Port Charles, he may not be ready to hang up his hat and retire just yet, but PCU may not have positions open for professors.

Gregory may however, have the knowhow to take over and run a newspaper – and he might be under the false impression The Invader’s up for sale again! Nothing’s been said about Shawn putting the paper up for sale, he’s just letting Alexis run the paper and edit it.

GH Spoilers – Gregory Chase Puts An Offer Up And Alexis Davis Says No

The feud over The Invader takes place between Greg and Alexis, with Gregory assuming perhaps it’s up for sale and trying to buy it. Shawn turned the paper and the offices and everything over to Alexis but he didn’t say anything about putting it up for sale! Alexis will tell him he has a misunderstanding, and even if she wanted to sell it she can’t because she doesn’t own it, and it’s now her baby. She, like he, has had a career change due to situations outside her control, and she gets it but it’s not up to her! Alexis knows he’s Finn’s father so she is gracious but firm – but they both might feel some unanticipated sparks and team up not in business, but in a romance!
