General Hospital spoilers reveal that there could be plans to resume production in August. Brett Vickerman posted on Twitter that William Lipton’s Livestream teased plans to go back to the set, but not for a few months. While summer is some time away, at least we have some sort of timeline during these uncertain times.

COVID-19 Causes Production Shutdown

GH spoilers reveal that the coronavirus pandemic completely shut down production for all four soaps. When the ABC soap first announced they were going dark due to COVID-19, it was expected to only be a few weeks.

However, there doesn’t seem to be any end in sight, and networks are taking drastic action to keep viewers interested as other soaps run out of new episodes. Thankfully, GH is still on the air with the exception of Fridays.

GH Spoilers: No Timeline Frustrates Fans

The most frustrating part of all this is the uncertainty. Fans want to know when production could resume. They want to know if General Hospital could also run out of new episodes. It’s hard to predict when there is no timeline, but Lipton may have just given us something to look forward to.

William Lipton Teases Plans to Get Back to Work

According to Vickerman’s Twitter post, Lipton said during a Livestream that there are tentative plans to get back to work in August. He wrote,

“William Lipton just mentioned on his live stream that they’re tentatively planning on starting filming for #GH again in August. I think that’s the first we’ve heard any sort of news about that! #GeneralHospital”

General Hospital Spoilers: August Long Way Off, But It’s Something

Even though August does seem like a long way off, at least it’s some sort of information. That means there is hope that life will return to normal soon. It also means that we might not have to live without new episodes of GH.

The speculation seems to make sense because many TV publications have estimated that California sets will get back to running around summertime.
