General Hospital Spoilers: Finn Will Have A Christmas He’ll Want To Forget

General Hospital spoilers tease that Dr. Hamilton Finn will almost ruin Santa for his daughter, Violet Barnes (Jophielle Love). Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) then tells him he needs to take a step back and show a little more Christmas spirit. But three Christmas spirits? In the General Hospital sneak peek for this week, after hearing Dr.Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) read “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens to the children gathered at GH waiting for Santa, Finn has a nightmare that he’s Ebenezer Scrooge!

Anna Devane Chastises Dr. Hamilton Finn Just A Little Bit!

At the nurse’s station at General Hospital, Anna chastises Finn just a little bit, after Finn apparently says something to Violet that could have really ruined her Santa Claus experience, he asks Anna, “Violet didn’t hear what I said, did she?” Anna replies, “No – but I did take the precaution of reinforcing the fact that Santa only comes to children who believe – you know?” Finn interrupts, saying “Thank you – of course” then apologizes when he realizes he interrupted her. Anna tells him she loves him to pieces as she holds his face in her hands, but tells him that he really has to set an example for his daughter; and that he just has to open his heart to the spirit of the season – then asks him if he can do that. He nods yes.

Dr. Monica Quartermaine Takes A Book From Michael Corinthos

Monica sits in Santa’s throne among the children gathered waiting for Santa to arrive, and asks Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) if he found something; he tells her yes, he found a classic! He hands her a large red book. Monica says, “Oh – oh! Hey kids, this is great! It’s called A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens! Now, some of it is a little scary, are you okay with that? All the children, excited, shout, “YEAH”! Monica laughs, and says, “Well, okay!” as Finn and Anna approach. Monica continues and then says, “Alrighty then, let’s start. Marley was dead, to begin with – there was no doubt about that.” Finn focuses on Violet, who is sitting in the crowd of children, and looks a little skeptical, possibly wondering if Violet will wonder if her mother is dead or that maybe Violet is too young to hear a ghost story.

Dr. Hamilton Finn Is Suddenly Taken Back In Time To A Victorian Home

Then, suddenly, Finn is taken back, at least in his mind, to a Victorian home with a fire burning in the fireplace. It appears to be a bedroom; and a large four-poster bed is in the room with the bed-curtains drawn, although some are sheer curtains and a figure can be seen lying in the bed. A huge grandfather clock also ticks loudly as the camera pans in closer to the bed, where the figure is revealed to be none other than Dr. Hamilton Finn, dressed in a white nightcap and pajamas! Suddenly he wakes up from a nightmare – or is it to a nightmare? Finn is now in Victorian England, and he is no longer Dr. Hamilton Finn, he is Ebenezer Scrooge! Perhaps Finn has been indulging in Christmas spirits of another nature!
