General Hospital Spoilers – Another Panic Attack
Elizabeth had another panic attack that Finn became aware of when he saw her in a dissociative state on the staircase recently. She appeared to be having some kind of post-traumatic flashbacks and had dropped a batch of files; she was frozen. Granted, this was the same staircase that the Peter August (Wes Ramsey) incident had happened on and that had been a traumatic experience for the both of them.
But Finn made a huge mistake when he went to talk to Co-Chief of Staff Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) about what had happened. He didn’t go to her as Elizabeth’s boss, but as her childhood friend, however when Elizabeth walked in on him talking to her she was upset to say the least.
GH Spoilers – Hamilton Finn Is Overstepping
Finn may mean well, but he is definitely overstepping and trying to overprotect Elizabeth by fixing her problems, and fixing her as well. This may have come from his days with his first wife, who he was not able to save from a rare disease called Blackwood’s Syndrome which he later contracted. He eventually stumbled upon a cure using blood from his pet bearded dragon, Roxie, and was able to cure himself but still carries guilt over the death of his first wife.
This may be what makes him so overprotective over Elizabeth and so determined to save her from herself, but he’s making a big mistake; Elizabeth doesn’t want his overprotection. She even warned him after catching him talking about her panic attack to Terry that if his behavior continued, they were through.
General Hospital Spoilers – A Fatal Mistake
Finn will soon what will likely be a fatal mistake for his and Elizabeth’s relationship when he contacts her parents against her wishes in an effort towards a solution. Finn is convinced that something traumatic happened to her as a child and that surely her parents would know what that is, because she is triggered by them. There could have been an instance of Elizabeth suffering some sort of trauma and her parents being too busy and distracted to listen.
That certainly could have caused a response of pushing her parents away but it’s not Finn’s job to be family counselor. If Elizabeth finds out that Finn has again overstepped and involved her parents in this, she’ll certainly end their relationship even if he is completely on track with his suspicions.
