It’s interesting because while the mob boss and superspy have been friends for years, they also have shared a ton of scenes together as of late. As such, it’s hard for fans not to speculate that this shared “target” experience could bond them, romantically.

GH spoilers hint that a mystery will begin to unfold surrounding this shooting incident. Who’s behind the bullet and who was the intended target? Regardless, this situation may bring Sonny and Anna into each other’s orbits far more often in the weeks ahead.
Sonny is currently with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros); however, with Reeves’s SEC secret, fans know that this won’t last long. Meanwhile, Anna is in a solid relationship with Valentin Cassadine (Patrick James Stuart); however, she has been a bit withdrawn from him since her DVX past has come to light.
Plus, Valentin is in Russia right now helping Laura Collins (Genie Francis) look for Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss).
As Anna and Sonny get closer, their current relationships may crumble around them, causing them to further turn to each other for support. Could a romance blossom?
GH Spoilers: Sometimes Friends Are Just Friends
Just because Anna and Sonny are sharing more scenes together, it doesn’t necessarily mean they could hook up. After all, Valentin is also connected to Pikeman, and Anna being a target could have to do with Cassadine, too.
Still, it would be interesting to Sonny with someone other than Nina (at this point), or even Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). As Devane is no longer connected to the WSB, or even the PCPD at this point, she could easily dive into a romance with Port Charles’s biggest mob boss, and not worry about the ramifications this would have on her career.

Please dont try to hook Sonny with Anna. Instead they should count on each other as closer friends than ever since neither trusts anyone else. Trust has always been a big issue for both of them.
Why in the world would Sonny want a relationship with that duckfaced, Ichabod Crane looking old bat!? Please! He’s got better than that in Nina, and she couldn’t win a dog pageant. And BTW! What the hell has happened to the women of GH!?They used to be the best looking women in all the soaps put together. Look at Sam, once the most beautiful women on GH, but she had degenerated into a ballon lipped, skinny boy. There are only 4 attractive woman on GH. Carly, Felicia, Sasha and Portia. Maybe it’s time GH got away from the love, sex, affairs, hookup stories and stay with stories that doesn’t require any of these women to be taken seriously as anyone’s love interest..
