General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) just might not like it too much that her baby girl, Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos), might start a relationship with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). GH fans might find themselves agreeing that it’s just way too soon.
General Hospital Spoilers – Molly Lansing-Davis Jumps the Shark
Admit it. Molly hooking up with Brando is a bit boring, isn’t it? Kind of a ploy to keep GH viewers feeling that Molly is still relevant? Well, who cares about that! Regardless of all that, Molly’s mom is sure to have a cow over Molly’s decidedly swift ability to forget the man she just spent eight years loving!
As GH viewers know, the fact is that Molly hasn’t entered into a relationship with Port Charles’s newest mechanic … yet. However, many will agree Molly’s heading in that direction. Everyone watched as Brando saved the day by refusing to take advantage of Molly. In fact, Brando gave Molly the respect and time she needed to come to a clear-headed decision about whom she wanted fixing her car.
So far, so good.
GH Spoilers – Alexis Davis Is Worried
With all of the above said, some GH viewers may agree that when Alexis finds out that Molly is no longer with TJ she’ll worry for her daughter. Alexis will absolutely freak out, however, when someone tells her that Molly is dating someone new literally two seconds later. First of all, there was no time for Molly to process her emotions. Molly was in a long-term relationship that suddenly ended. Alexis has been in therapy. Alexis ought to know that some studies have shown that it can take up to one-third of the time a couple was together to get over a breakup.
Of course, in Molly’s case that would mean that Molly ought to be feeling intense emotional turmoil for up to two and a half years!
Now GH viewers know that many people start dating long before they’re emotionally whole again. It’s an attempt to mend long before the brokenhearted person is ready. Alexis has had plenty of her own experiences in this regard. She, therefore, ought to know the dangers of using a new person as an emotional security blanket and as a means of trying to escape the pain of loss. Any move vis-à-vis Brando is merely her daughter on the (uber fast) rebound.

GH viewers may find Alexis moving to protect Molly like a mamma bear protects her cubs. While she may not believe that there is anything wrong with Brando per se, she may feel the timing is just not right. Alexis won’t want to see Molly hurt any more than she already is due to the collapse of her relationship with TJ.

Fans might see Alexis having a private discussion with Brando where she asks him to back off. This could lead to further drama when Molly finds out Alexis is interfering in her personal life. However, don’t most parents get involved in their adult children’s lives if they feel it necessary? Maybe the answer to that question depends on the individual parents involved.
Bottom line is that some GH fans know Alexis feels awful about some of her life choices in the relationship department. Alexis may, therefore, try to do everything in her power to keep Molly from making a mistake she’ll regret for the rest of her life.
