General Hospital Spoilers: Franco Battled His Own Mind – Fights To Come Back To Liz

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the Drew persona that currently has control of Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) body has decided to have the procedure that could bring Franco back. Drew went to court to be able to make the decision about who he is for himself, even though the Drew persona only exists because Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) memories were forcibly implanted in Franco, and Drew won. But he has realized that the body he is occupying belongs to Franco.

General Hospital Spoilers – The procedure is risky

There are at least four possible outcomes even if the procedure is completed. First, Franco could come back. This is of course what his wife, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), and the rest of Franco’s loved ones are hoping for. But it’s also possible that Drew’s memories could remain or even grow stronger. This is what concerns Peter August (Wes Ramsey) because it’s possible Drew might be able to identify Peter as one of the masterminds behind Drew’s original abduction in 2012. Then the fourth possibility is that Franco will be in a catatonic state.

GH Spoilers – Franco Baldwin has already had serious brain trauma

Several years ago, a brain tumor was removed from Franco, IT was an extremely large tumor and it was blamed for the murders that Franco committed. He already has had a lot of brain trauma, so even if the procedure is a success, it may take some time for Franco’s brain to heal. Franco’s subconscious might have to work to come back.

Franco will likely have to fight a subconscious version of Drew, but his real enemy may be himself. Franco made the comment awhile back that he doesn’t deserve to be happy. He’s had several sessions with Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) abd has certainly come a long way. But look for Franco to have some sort or internal battle to convince himself that he deserves a second chance at life! Franco has been his own worst enemy for a long time now, and this may be how he finally conquers his demons.
