General Hospital Spoilers: Franco Set The Record StraightGeneral Hospital spoilers tease in a new General Hospital promo that Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) has a very informative talk with his stepson Cameron Webber (William Lipton) as he’s doing his community service assignment – informative for Cameron, that is!

Franco walks up to Cameron in a park as he’s raking leaves and cleaning up litter, and reminds him that he’s off the clock. He tells him the judge won’t give him any brownie points or credit off his community service sentence for working overtime, and then he offers to take him to Kelly’s for a burger.

General Hospital Spoilers – Franco Tries To Bond With Cameron

Cameron, on the other hand, snarks back at Franco, accusing him of just trying to impress his mother and brothers, and this bonding business is just garbage! Franco says he gets it, as Cameron starts to walk away from him, and tells him to hold on. Franco tells him he understands how and why Cameron feels about him as he does about some of the things Franco did in the past, but that he doesn’t understand half of the things Cameron does and why he does them either.

But, Franco continues, the more he gets to know Cameron the more he admires and respects him, as Cameron turns around and starts to listen. Franco says he’ll keep it up until maybe someday they can come to the point where they both can get past merely tolerating each other. Franco continues, telling Cameron that for the record he’s not just doing it for his mother, who he loves completely, but also for himself, and that he knows that he has not yet earned Cameron’s respect, but he will!

General Hospital Spoilers – Cameron Snaps At Franco

Cameron has seen his mom go through a lot of relationships that didn’t work out and several with men who were rather shady about the things that they did outside of their relationship with her, and so he grew up rather overprotective of his mother and brothers. The snarky comment about bonding being garbage may be a reaction to his having bonded with Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Lake Stitt) to whom he had bonded, probably without meaning too, and he is hiding his grief. GH viewers can see why Cameron might think bonding is garbage if all it does is hurt when he’s lost someone!
