General Hospital spoilers for Friday, August 16, 2024 are here! Fans can expect Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to hit paydirt. Laura Collins (Genie Francis) gets a distressing call. John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) makes a shocking arrest.

General Hospital Spoilers –  TJ Ashford’s Heartbreaking Choice

GH spoilers for Friday, August 16 reveal that Molly and TJ will make a heartbreaking choice. Fans might recall that earlier in the week, TJ tried to get Molly to help him pick a name for the baby as well as a burial spot. TJ felt that he was all alone in his grief. However, Molly is using her grief in a different way. In Molly’s mind, she thinks she can get justice for the baby by going after Ava Jerome (Maura West) legally.

It is teased that Molly and TJ will make a heartbreaking choice. In a preview clip, TJ is standing in a hospital room with Molly. TJ and Molly talk to Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). TJ says that they can’t wait any longer. Since this is connected to TJ and Molly’s heartbreaking choice, it sounds like it concerns the baby. 

General Hospital Spoilers – Mac Scorpio’s Reality Check

General Hospital spoilers for Friday, August 16 reveal that Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will finally come to his senses. Mac tells James West (Gary James Fuller), “It wasn’t your mom’s fault, it was mine.” It sounds like it took James nearly drowning to realize Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) isn’t a bad guy.

Plus, he is technically family if Mac would just accept it. Maybe this marks the beginning of a new chapter for Mac and Cody.

On Friday, August 16, Jason hits paydirt. Sonny makes a promise to Kristina. As Kristina is getting ready to leave the hospital, a nurse comes in with her discharge examination results. John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) makes a shocking arrest.

Ava tells John that it’s a bit of  stretch to paint her as the victim. Laura gets a distressing call. Laura will also meet with Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) about a “unique opportunity.”
