Sonny is tired of Dex disappointing him. He’s lied one too many times, and his newest young associate doesn’t seem to think it’s important to report the truth to his boss or be transparent about his whereabouts and who he’s involved with. Sonny isn’t normally so tolerant of this kind of thing, but there is something about Dex that makes him want to cut the kid a break.
