The happy couple is ready to say their vows. Auntie Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) might not be able (or willing) to officiate this wedding, but Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has gladly stepped in to do the honors. Portia is riddled with guilt and anxiety that her secret might come out, and she knows once she marries Curtis, he can never find out that Trina might be his daughter. Speaking of which, it’s very important to Portia that this day goes off without a hitch, but she wants it to be special for Trina, too. What lies ahead will certainly make it a day Trina never forgets.
