General Hospital spoilers for Friday, February 20, 2026, indicate the episode will center on the life of Luke Spencer, played by the late and great Anthony Geary.

Loved ones gather to honor the iconic citizen of Port Charles and remember his legacy. Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) will toast to Luke’s memory, along with her step-monster, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), while Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will get mighty emotional.

Plus, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) bond as they talk about their friend and uncle.

The Life Of The Man, The Myth, & The Legend

General Hospital spoilers for Friday, February 20, hint that the residents of Port Charles will gather to reflect on the life of Luke Spencer.

Luke passed away in January 2022 from a cable car accident, which was organized by Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).

With that said, Anthony Geary passed away at the age of 78 this past December 14, 2025. The show promised a proper tribute episode to honor the Daytime Emmy winner and his impact on the ABC soap, and they’ll deliver it tomorrow.

The show will be jam-packed with lots of Luke talk, video flashbacks, and plenty of tears!

Laura Collins Gets Emotional

Speaking of tears, Laura will be a part of this show, but how can she not be? Luke and Laura set the standards for soapy super couples in the 1980s, and their wedding is still in the record books, with 30 million tuning in November 1981.

In a preview clip, Laura is shown, highly emotional, at the local church, as she is sitting in a pew. The woman states, while looking onward, “Luke, you never left me”.

There’s a very good chance that there will be video clips from Luke and Laura’s romance, as well as their wedding.

Tracy Quartermaine & Lulu Spencer Bond

In addition, Lulu will spend time with Tracy, as they talk about their love for Luke. The General Hospital preview for the February 20 show opens with Lulu picking up a picture of Luke, as scenes shift to Tracy telling Lulu they are going to “honor your dad” together.

As Friday’s preview concludes, Lulu and Tracy share a drink behind a bar, as they clink glasses.

Lulu was in a coma when her father passed away, so perhaps this tribute will center around the fact that she never got to say goodbye properly.

Over at Carly’s house, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will be banished to the attic, as the blonde and Sonny share their feelings about Luke.

In the General Hospital preview for Friday’s show, Carly is listening as Sonny declares, “Luke was more than my friend, he was my brother.”

In addition to the Friday 20 preview, another promo was released earlier during the week of February 16-20.

Laura is shown lighting a candle in the church as she declares, through her tears, “Thank you for the love of a lifetime,” while a video clip is shown of Luke and Laura dancing

In addition, the show will present the first time Sonny met Luke. Sonny, Carly, Tracy, Laura, Lulu, and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will all congregate at the docks as they share a hot beverage and memories of Luke.
