General Hospital Spoilers Friday, January 29: Nina’s Daughter Clues Come Together – Sonny Questions Phyllis’ Motives – Olivia’s Dante Panic

General Hospital: Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, January 29, tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will continue to reel over the half-heart pendant and what this means. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is no doubt holding out hope that Nina might be holding the duplicate, but it doesn’t seem she’ll be that lucky.

Instead, it seems Nina will click the pieces into place and form a perfect match. “Could she really be my daughter?” Nina asks on Friday’s GH preview clip. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will be nearby as Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) looks guilty along with Carly.

Nina may determine that the woman who dropped this necklace could very well be her biological child. That should leave Nina thinking about who was at the cabin, so it may not be long until her mind goes to Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier). The kidnapping saga ended not too far from the cabin, so Nina’s heart may sink when she realizes Nelle dropped it on the property before her death.

General Hospital Spoilers – Jasper Jax Will Condfess

General Hospital spoilers say Jax will gather up his courage and resolve to confess, but it’s doubtful he’ll tell the whole truth. Jax may simply admit that Carly realized the pendant was a match for Nina’s and told him. He may explain that they both wanted to spare her the pain of knowing her daughter was already dead.

This would leave Jax and Carly in the clear on the worst part of the story. Carly was unable to pull Nelle up when she was dangling off the cliff, so Jax suggested a cover-up – one that’s bound to come back to bite Carly eventually. There’s no way Nina will buy that Carly didn’t push Nelle on purpose, but that part of the story should be delayed for a bit.

In the meantime, Nina will have a lot to mull over if she indeed realizes Nelle was her daughter. That should bring a flood of complicated emotions – and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will face her own emotional flood as well. As GH, Olivia will panic over Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) crisis and beg the staff to tell her he’s alive.

GH Spoilers – Olivia Quartermaine Wants Dante Falconeri Back

Olivia just got Dante back, so she certainly won’t want to lose him again. Luckily, Dante’s going to be OK and will stick around for his Ma. Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will worry about Olivia when he gets updates at the hospital, but Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will think he’s got it covered. Ned will seem pretty territorial as he argues that he’s the only support Olivia needs.

Robert may think Ned needs to chill out and remember that he’s the one who betrayed Olivia, not the other way around. Ned was mistaken about what he believed was going on between Robert and Olivia, so there’s no need for him to act threatened. Ned would be better off worrying about how he’s going to make it up to Olivia for cheating on her with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

Of course, Olivia’s going to have a meltdown when she realizes Alexis is the reason Dante almost died. Olivia my argue that it wasn’t enough for Alexis to destroy her marriage! She’ll be in rare form in Friday’s episode, but Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) will hope to eliminate at least one source of drama back at the Quartermaine mansion.

General Hospital Spoilers – Tracy Quartrmaine’s Visit Not A Good One

Tracy’s visit has turned into a very unwelcome one, so she’ll be taken aback over the news that Monica’s kicking her out. General Hospital spoilers say Monica will give Tracy updates on her decision while Alexis shares her side of the Dante story at the PCPD.

Mac Scorpio (John J. York) won’t care that Alexis was trying to protect Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) or even that she’d been drinking. There’ll be no justification as far as Mac’s concerned. Mac will just hope Dante pulls through for the sake of everyone involved.

As for Franco, he’ll probably be just as puzzled as Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) about why Dante would put so much on the line to protect him. Franco might shrug that Dante’s background as a protective cop must’ve kicked up. He won’t know Dante was protecting Franco on Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) orders following her pen-click programming.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will move forward with plans to speak to a mental health expert. However, Sonny won’t be happy about it and will wonder why Phyllis Caulfield) cares so much for this random stranger who showed up at the hospital.

Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) thinks it’s because Phyllis still battles guilt over the illegal adoption she was duped into participating in. Phyllis may not give Sonny the whole story, but she’ll give him enough of an explanation to make him believe she has good reasons to help.

General Hospital spoilers say some twists and turns are in store for Sonny, so don’t miss what’s coming! Stick with ABC’s GH and don’t forget to check back often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, updates and news.

The whole Sonny story is bogus. The police would have checked his fingerprints and found out who he was. I am not enjoying this story line at all!

There is no character that this story line could bring back that I would welcome if that is what is all about. I agree that the Carly/Jason/Sonny relationship has been over written in the last few months as Jason is more so of a robot than he has ever been. The Alexis story line has gone on for too long along with Nina's lost child. All of the ongoing forever story lines need to be ended. It's time the GH characters were returned to their original personalities, as the personality changes have really ruined the show in my opinion.

I think the story line for Sonny is boring, Unless he is bringing a character back This story really didn’t fit into what was going on before he fell off the bridge, time for Sonny to go home with memories before Jason and Carly ruin everyone’s life. I’m really seeing that Jason is getting totally out of hand trying to protect Carly! Come on writers your making Jason look like an idiotic where Carly concerned, he didn’t even do that for Sam his wife! Get over the Jason/Carly thing!
I’m happy to see Alexis pay for her drunken behavior!! She basically just flat out hasn’t t cared about what she’s been doing with her drunken self! Time to pay the piper!! I hope Olivia leaves Ned and gets Divorced!

I agree with the comments about the characters' personalities changing and it is definitely not for the better.
What is happening with Jason? He is so one-note, there is no dimension whatsoever. I know he is brain damaged, but they used to write him with some emotion.
And Carly kidnapping an old, frail woman and Jason not demanding she be returned?
