General Hospital Spoilers Friday, January 8: Michael Delivers Sonny Shocker To Carly, Sasha Offers Comfort – Sam Provokes Peter’s Fury

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, January 8, tease that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will have dinner with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) as promised – and he’ll certainly hope this might serve as a new beginning. Chase will describe what he’s hoping to achieve, so that probably means gushing about his love for Willow and trying to find a way to start over.

“That’s what I want for us…more than anything,” Chase tells Willow in Friday’s preview clip. Sadly, Willow won’t seem quiet on the same page. GH fans know Willow’s caught between her old love for Chase and her new feelings for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). It’ll be hard for Willow to make any kind of decision about her future, but Chase may promise that he can be patient.

At GH, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will declare that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has no one to blame but himself for his mom’s predicament. Cyrus has been making lives miserable ever since he first came on the scene. General Hospital viewers know Cyrus hasn’t been afraid to make things personal – like when he kidnapped TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and forced Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) to suffer.

General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Is Suffering

Now Cyrus is the one who’s suffering, but Laura will feel like it serves him right after all the havoc he’s created. Of course, Cyrus will continue to blame Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and will plot payback. As for Jason, he’ll make his way to the PCPD for a grilling session. With Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) present, Jason will face questions about Cyrus’ mother going missing.

Jordan will try to pry the truth out of Jason, but it doesn’t look like she’ll get it. Jason probably won’t admit any connection to the kidnapping at all – and it’s even less likely he’ll admit that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is responsible.

Speaking of Carly, some dreadful updates are headed her way – and Michael will be the one to deliver them. Michael will receive word from the New Jersey state police, so he’ll confess that to Carly on Friday. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will also be on hand as Michael shares what he’s learned.

GH Spoilers – Sasha Gilmore Will Offer Comfort

General Hospital spoilers say Sasha will offer comfort to Michael afterward, so this news won’t be positive. There’s a chance the cops found evidence that Sonny’s dead – or at least maybe they’ve given up any hope of finding Sonny alive. Either way, Michael will need someone to lean on and Sasha will happily step up. This could serve as an opportunity for Sasha and Michael to grow closer again.

As for Carly, she’ll probably be in denial about Sonny’s fate. Fortunately, Sonny will indeed make a GH comeback down the road. It’s just going to take some time and major twists to get there!

Until then, we should discuss Marcus Taggert (Asante Jones) and the visit he’ll get from Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Portia will still be angry with Taggert over his fake death deception, but she’ll put her fury aside and focus on what’s important: their daughter.

General Hospital Spoilers – Trinia Robinson Furious

Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) was hurt and just as furious over Taggert’s lies, but Portia will feel like Taggert has to fix this. She’ll encourage this depressed dad to take back his life and rebuild his bond with Trina.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will cross paths with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) at the Metro Court. That’s where Peter will be in a rush and Sam will be highly suspicious. Peter’s agitated behavior will leave Sam wondering what’s up, so she’ll wonder where Peter’s going in such a hurry.

Peter won’t be interested in answering Sam’s questions and will unleash his fury. That should make Sam even more convinced that Peter’s planning something nefarious again. Peter just found out that Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) is dealing with some resurfacing memories – ones that belonged to Drew Cain (Billy Miller). This puts Peter in a bind since Franco could remember something that incriminates him.
