General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, July 24 indicate that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will confront someone, while Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) faces a test.
Additionally, at the Quartermaine boathouse on the dock, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) extends an olive branch.
Key Takeaways
- Elizabeth confronts Willow, demanding she let Drew communicate freely.
- Chase faces a high-stakes test at the PCPD as his detective future hangs in the balance.
- Josslyn grills Brennan, who delivers troubling news that could change everything.
- Lucas urges Britt to make a life-changing decision as the two clear the air.
- Jason returns to Port Charles and offers Drew a fresh start in hopes of healing their fractured family.
Elizabeth Issues A Challenge
It appears that Elizabeth and Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) might be in a doctor’s office at General Hospital, where Elizabeth poses a challenging question to Willow.
Clearly, the discussion revolves around Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), as Elizabeth has been puzzled by Willow’s reluctance to utilize the advanced communication aids she previously mentioned.
Elizabeth has harbored suspicions about this for some time and is now confronting Willow directly.
Seated behind a desk, Elizabeth holds a position of power as she challenges Willow, who stands before her. Elizabeth insists that Willow must allow Drew to express himself-unless she doesn’t want that.
Chase’s Tested
At the Port Charles Police Department, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) puts Chase through a challenge after Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) proposed a promotion for him.
She had tasked Chase with locating the missing evidence in the Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) shooting case, but Dante eventually admitted the truth.
As a result, she opted to close the case while still keeping the promotion offer on the table.
Now, Chase finds himself with Dante at the PCPD, where he inquires whether this is merely a courtesy or an actual test. It’s clearly a test, and Chase is certainly hoping to succeed!
Josslyn Questions Brennan
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) has fully recovered and been released from the hospital after the gunshot wound she suffered on Spoon Island when she took down Cullum with a rifle.
She’s now back at the WSB office, ready to confront her boss, Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna), with some pressing questions. Josslyn wants to know if he’s attempting to uncover Cullum’s secrets or if he’s more focused on salvaging his own?
Jack appears visibly irritated, and he might not have the answers Josslyn is seeking. Brennan is about to share some unfortunate news; but will it pertain to the black box that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) discovered at Wyndemere, or is it related to something entirely different?
Lucas And Britt Talk It Out
Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) have a conversation at General Hospital, where Lucas tells Britt that if she’s unhappy, she should just leave!
He also plans to apologize, possibly for how things ended at Bobbie’s when she first met Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) and had a breakdown.
It seems Britt is once again voicing her frustrations about her responsibilities while on probation at General Hospital, despite others believing she should be grateful for the opportunity to prove herself!
Jason And Danny Return
Meanwhile, Jason and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) are back in Port Charles after their father-son getaway.
The latest General Hospital weekly promo hinted that Jason will visit the hospital, where he and Britt will cross paths. He might drop Danny off at the Quartermaine mansion before heading to GH.
Although Danny isn’t seen entering the double doors at GH that lead to the Nurses’ Desk, it appears Jason may need some medical care. Since he didn’t address it on the first day, he’s obviously planning to take care of it now.
Jason Brokers Peace
While at the Quartermaines, Jason plans to extend an olive branch, possibly with Danny nearby. He notices Drew sitting in a wheelchair by the lake.
In a close-up shot, it may be Scout Quartermaine’s (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) face that can be seen partially next to her father.
Jason addresses his brother, who is no longer his identical twin, since Drew had plastic surgery, saying, “It’s time for a new chapter.”
It seems he is attempting to reconcile with Drew for the greater good, especially for their children-like Danny and Jake Webber (Hudson West), who had pleaded for this before Drew’s disappearance.
Will they manage to resolve their differences for the benefit of their kids?
