General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, July 5 – Sam Tries To Persuade Carol – Shiloh Celebrates – Jason Pleads With Harmony

General Hospital spoilers for Friday, July 5, tease that Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) will have a strategy session with his attorney Zahra Amir (Maysoon Zayid), and it looks like Shiloh will be feeling excited since he’s recently discovered the whereabouts of Wiley Cooper-Jones. He’s under the belief that Wiley is his son, and he’s going to fight with everything he’s got to get the baby back.

But Zahra will question Shiloh’s movies. She doesn’t seem to miss a beat, and she’ll realize that Shiloh seems to be under the impression that if he gets his son back, then he’ll get Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) back as well. She’ll remind Shiloh that he needs to demonstrate to the court that the baby would be better off with him, and that should be his main objective now.

Meanwhile, on Friday’s new episode of General Hospital, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) will have a big ask for Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan). As GH viewers will remember, Kristina has just appeared at Neil’s office as her mom Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was leaving. Kristina will want Neil to help her tell Alexis about the content of the pledge that she gave Shiloh.

This will put Neil in an awkward position. He’ll want to help Kristina, but he’s also just told Alexis that he can’t treat her anymore. We’ll see where this leads. Chances are, he’ll give in, since GH previews show Kristina telling Neil that if that if she doesn’t tell her mom about the pledge now, she may never do so. Alexis will probably add some pressure as well, since she’s keen on knowing about the pledge.

Next on GH, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) will have some more conflict. Dev tends to get on Josslyn’s nerves, and on Friday’s episode, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will notice the situation. She’ll playfully quiz Dev about what he did to make Josslyn so mad.

Other General Hospital spoilers say that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have a serious-looking meeting with his associate “Brick” (Stephen A. Smith). Brick tends to come out of the woodwork when Sonny needs big, secretive favors. Sonny will tell Brick that he needs “protection for a friend.” We’ll see who that ends up being.

Meanwhile, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will head to Beecher’s Corners, where she will get a job as a waitress at the diner where Carol Lockhart (Mandy Musgrave) works. Of course, Carol is the woman who took the fall for Shiloh when Willow’s father died of a drug overdose. Carol falsely admitted to providing the drugs to Willow’s father, when in reality Shiloh killed him.

On Friday, Sam will start to work on Carol, picking up where Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) left off. Since Jason can’t set foot in Beecher’s Corners and Michael could easily be recognized if he goes back, it’ll be up to Sam to get Carol to cooperate and testify against Shiloh.

Finally, on Friday’s episode of General Hospital, Jason will travel to Pentonville to have a little chat with Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel), who is currently incarcerated there after falsely confessing to one of Shiloh’s crimes. Jason will shock Harmony when he tells her that he knows that Shiloh killed her husband. He’ll stress that Willow deserves to know the truth about how her father died, but will he be able to break Shiloh’s strong hold on Harmony?
