The Nurses Ball is always underway as Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) speaks with Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Lulu’s waiting to hear back from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about a possible meeting with Heinrik Faison. Lulu’s been in touch with someone claiming to be Heinrik’s mother, so she’s hoping to get clearance from Anna soon.

General Hospital Spoilers: Carly In Jail, Misses Nurses Ball

Over with Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), they discuss Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) being in jail. Bobbie argues that Carly didn’t push Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), who took a tumble down the stairs at the party. Despite all the Carly drama, Sonny wanted to be at the Nurses Ball for Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) sake.

Elsewhere, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) still thinks the other cops will be performing with him. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) finally admits Chase is flying solo and apologizes for tricking him. However, Dante assures Chase that his performance will support a worthy cause.

Chase ends up being a hit on stage and shakes hands with Dante afterward to show there are no hard feelings. Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) is pleased that Chase got involved in the event and thinks Dante should follow Chase’s lead next time.

Next, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) speaks with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) before Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) approaches. Nina has a getaway planned with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and wants Maxie to take care of something at Crimson for her. Since Nina could use a cigarette to settle down, she asks around. Peter insists he doesn’t smoke and never has, which Sam hears.

GH Nurses Ball Spoilers: Sam Searches Peter’s Office For Clues

Later, Sam searches for clues in Peter’s office. Since Peter’s background check was sketchy and he seems to be keeping secrets, Sam’s hoping for answers. After a brief run-in with the janitor, Sam finds a lighter on Peter’s desk. She finds it odd since Peter mentioned he isn’t a smoker and never has been.

Sam notices the initials “C.F.” are displayed prominently and determines this lighter belongs to Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). Back with Peter, he accuses Valentin of knowing Anna set him up. Peter and Valentin’s argument gets heated, but Peter vows to deal with things alone. A little later, Anna gets an email from Heinrik to request a meeting alone. He wants to meet on Pier 55 at midnight.

Nina pitches in on Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) magic show before Jordan’s called up. A trick turns into a marriage proposal, so Jordan agrees to become Curtis’ wife. Mike smiles over love being grand, but Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) clearly isn’t thrilled about the idea of Curtis marrying Jordan.

Back with Maxie, she checks in with Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) to be on the safe side. Kim thinks it’s perfectly normal for Maxie’s unborn baby to be overactive due to the noise of the event. Later, Maxie crumbles over Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) death. It’s hard for Maxie to be at the Nurses Ball without Nathan, but Peter does his best to console her.

Next On General Hospital: Finn Believes That Anna Is Dying

Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) gives Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) a glowing introduction while Alexis waits to take the stage. It’s almost time for Alexis to accept the Pioneer Award, but she’s busy listening in on Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) speech to Anna. Finn mistakenly believes Anna’s dying and makes it clear that he never stopped caring about her.

When Molly calls Alexis’ name to accept her award, she’s a no-show on stage. As for Valentin, he meets up with Nina and thinks they should head back to Wyndemere. Valentin wants to get Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) so they can kick off their trip, so he ushers Nina out.
