As soon as Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) was found not guilty of shooting her husband, they went home where Willow shot him up with a disabling drug.
He is now unable to communicate, and this has got to have Willow gloating–we knew she wouldn’t play nice with the cad!
The sudser was preempted on Tuesday, January 20, after the Monday show where Willow assaulted Drew. Fans will now see this episode on Wednesday, January 21 when Drew is at GH and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) has an update on Drew’s condition.
Willow Is Not Backing Down
Lying Willow calls for paramedics after injecting Drew into an unconscious state. At GH, she plays the aggrieved wife role to the hilt where she says that she hopes she got Drew to the hospital in time!
Willow tells her boss, Head Nurse Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), that Drew was slurring his speech before he collapsed and later Lucas reveals that Drew suffered a massive stroke.
Will Drew recover? Lucas says it’s too early to tell.

Lucas Has Bad News
Lucas states that stroke patients vary in their conditions after receiving treatment. Helpful Willow pipes up that Drew might not be able to talk or move.
Lucas responds that Drew could suffer from locked-in syndrome but it’s too early to tell. Poor Drew; we almost feel sorry for him. Almost.
Based on Lucas’ response, we predict that Drew does experience locked-in syndrome—unless he’s faking it like Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) did!

This means that Drew can’t reveal that Willow did this to him and he may surmise that she is the one who shot him.
Then again, will Drew even remember the giant syringe Willow plunged into his neck—she did it from behind?
We can see Drew pretending to have the syndrome in order to get Willow to implicate herself, but that could be a ways down the road. For now, Drew will suffer in silence.
What Happens Next to Drew?
As his wife, Willow controls Drew’s care and likely ships him off to a specialized facility for treatment.
But no matter where Drew is, spicy General Hospital spoilers show that he is at Willow’s mercy for the foreseeable future.
