General Hospital Spoilers: Genie Francis’ Port Charles Return – Airdate For Laura Collins’ Comeback

General Hospital (GH) spoilers note it’s been a hot minute since fans have seen Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and her hubby, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom). The two set off to Africa in hopes of finding Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) in late August to bring him home. Lulu Spencer (Alexis Havins) is in dire need of a liver donor, and Lucky seems like her only hope.

Well, thanks to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), Jason Morgan (Steven Burton), and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), Lucky is back home … but where is Laura and Kevin?

According to Soap Opera Digest (SOD), Genie Francis has been back on set and filming for some weeks now.

In fact, her first return episode is coming up the week of October 7-11, on Wednesday, October 9 (that is if no unforeseeable preemptions arise).

GH Spoilers – Time For Some Tissues …

Lucky has been back in town for a few days and fans have already been privy to a reunion (of sorts) with a comatose Lulu, some nice moments between him and Jason, as well as Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), and some beautiful scenes with Lucky and long-time love, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst).

Still, fans are looking very forward to seeing Genie and Jonathan back on daytime screens together.

After all, the twosome started working together in 1993, when a young Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and Laura came back to Port Charles, with a very little Lucky. Jackson was only 11 at the time and ended up exiting the show in 1999.

When he returned in 2010, Francis was not with the soap. While they had a brief stint together on canvas in 2015, it’s been far too long since Genie and Jonathan have shared a solid storyline together. Wednesday, October 9 should prove to be an interesting episode!
