In 1998, Alderson was cast as Starr Manning on One Life to Live. It is a role in which she grew up in front of viewers until her exit in 2012. Not only was she on the soap for over a decade, but the actress also ended up with a loyal fan base.

General Hospital: Creating Kiki Jerome

After OLTL, Kristen moved to General Hospital. She created the character Kiki Jerome. GH would be her home for the next three years, until 2015.

The Glorious Resurrection of Claire Owens

Right now, Alderson is filming The Glorious Resurrection of Claire Owens. She has the role of the main character and it is scheduled to be released next year. The movie is reportedly about a woman who agrees to get married. However, the relationship is unhealthy and is doomed.

Kristen Alderson’s Other Projects

Last year, the soap alum appeared as Abigail Collins on the TV show Mélange. Now, she revealed her excitement over another project on Instagram. She wrote that she just finished filming her first solo hosting gig. She also mentioned that she was looking forward to seeing where the pilot goes. She didn’t mention the name of the project, but the photo provides a few clues.

The clapperboard shows the title “Swiped” and includes the names, Joseph Craig and Mark Sylvester. Craig is a producer who also worked on Mélange. Sylvester is a cinematographer whose credits include Love, The Lonely Entrepreneur and Coming Out.

The actress didn’t provide any additional information about her latest gig. However, she did tease that details would be coming out soon, so we will have to wait for it to officially be announced.
