General Hospital spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam Morgan have been a fan-favorite couple for a long time. So, viewers were devastated when the couple separated. There is a rumor that “feelings” between the actors forced “JaSam” to end. However, Kelly Monaco has slammed that report and doesn’t appreciate her professionalism being questioned.

General Hospital Spoilers – Soap Fans Are Passionate Shippers

GH spoilers reveal that on all four remaining soaps, fans have certain couples that they feel passionately about. Whenever there is trouble with any of these couples, fans get riled up. They claim that soap writers don’t want to see anyone happy, but if everyone was happy in Daytime Land, then there would be nothing to watch. Then those same people would complain about “boring” storylines. Viewers can be very outspoken, so there is always a lot of fuss when a couple breaks up, reunites, has an affair, or even when an odd pair hooks up. So, when Jason and Sam separated, fans had quite a bit to say about it.

There are all sorts of theories about why writers ripped Jason (Steve Burton) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) apart. A fan shared a snippet from a podcast on Twitter. Twitter user @ItsOnlyMare92 tagged Monaco and Burton and just wanted to give them a heads up on what was being said about them. The speaker on the podcast claimed that Jason and Sam had to be broken apart due to the “feelings” between the actors. We’re not talking about love or respect, but the alleged claim that Monaco and Burton despise each other.

“You guys don’t owe anyone any explanation whatsoever but just a heads up, podcasts are being made and speaking for you two and expressing feelings. Just thought you guys like to know. I personally don’t think it’s fair for you guys.”

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Monaco replied to the fan and said that it’s BS. There has never been any indication that the two “hate” each other. In fact, they have appeared on fan Q&A live streams together and seem to get along well. Even if they did have issues with one another, they aren’t being paid to like each other. They are getting paid to act on a soap opera, so they will portray Jason and Sam according to the scripts they are given. If they did have issues, then it would probably have been addressed way back during the “2 Jason’s” mystery.

GH Spoilers – Rumors Question Professionalism

It’s not fair to blame actors for a fictional couple breaking up on a soap. Actors are real people, characters are make-believe. While actors can have some influence over scripts and story direction, it really is up to producers and writers on what happens in the soap. This includes Jason and Sam splitting up. Here’s the thing, though. Employees at an office or gas station are expected to be professional and polite even if they hate their coworkers. So, to create a rumor that “JaSam” is due to Monaco and Burton’s alleged “feelings” is really questioning their professionalism as actors.

There was once a head writer for a soap (not GH) who explained that breaking up couples has nothing to do with “hating” certain characters. It was explained that soaps only stay alive with drama and breakups bring plenty of that to the screen. The main reason for breaking couples up is the journey of the story and the fans cheering when they finally get back together. “JaSam” has gone through lots of ups and downs. So, they might be apart for now but expect a winning reunion story in the near future.

      Smdh to writers what is going on with them I wish they get their act together there barely ppl getting screen time now and I though they was saving money ain’t that’s why they kill Julian and send lulu away bc of the budget
