Gladys may fumble over her words, but don’t be fooled, she will be trembling with fear on the inside when Sonny spies her meeting up with Selina. Time is ticking away and she’s running out of options when it comes to finding the money she owes the mobstress.

Even trying to swindle Sonny isn’t working anymore. Given that it won’t be the first time Sonny sees Gladys with Selina, his suspicions will grow stronger, and Gladys will be left wondering if he’ll make the connection between her investment opportunity and his mob ally.

Gladys may think she’s sly, but anyone with half a brain knows that Sonny must be aware of Selina’s underground poker games at The Savoy. He may not approve of Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) involvement, but he’s not foolish enough to ask questions he doesn’t want the answers to. The real question on everyone’s mind is how did Gladys manage to land a seat at the table? Perhaps her poker skills rival those of a seasoned gambler, or maybe she’s got some connections. Either way, it’s hard to imagine why Selina would want to spend any time with the likes of Gladys; they’re hardly in the same social circles. But then again, in this business, you never know who your allies truly are. Sonny knows that better than anyone, and yet, he marginally trusts Selina.

General Hospital Spoilers — Sasha Gilmore Is Drawing Closer To The Truth

When Sonny decides to go straight to Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson) with his concerns about who Gladys is spending her time with, he might not get the reception he is hoping for. Gladys seems set on stonewalling him about her connection to Selina, leaving him with no choice but to seek out someone who might be more open to his concerns. Sonny knows that he doesn’t have all of the details yet, but he’s hopeful that Sasha will be able to see what’s been going on under her nose and dig deeper than he can as an outsider. Of course, it’s not going to be that easy since Gladys is currently Sasha’s legal guardian. She hardly has any control over her own life, let alone Gladys’ decisions.
