General Hospital Spoilers: Gladys Working With Taggert To Get Inside Info on Sonny’s Business

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) has wasted no time insinuating herself into Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Bernard) business, both personal and professional. But is Gladys just a lonely busybody or is she up to something a bit more insidious? Sonny had no intention of letting Gladys into their lives but a situation with Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) necessitated Gladys’ involvement.

General Hospital Spoilers – Dev Cerci came to the US illegally

Sonny first encountered Dev in Turkey when he was there to bring his son, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) home after an extended undercover assignment for the WSB. With some timely assistance from Dev, Sonny and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) were able to bring Dante home.

Sonny asked Robert if the WSB could help keep Dev safe from any possible retaliation from the Turkish Underworld. Robert agreed to do what he could, but unfortunately, Robert wouldn’t be with the WSB much longer.

GH Spoilers – Dev Cerci didn’t feel the WSB was actually protecting him

Robert was let go from the WSB at around the same time as Dev came to Port Charles seeking out Sonny after a few months. Robert confirmed that protecting Dev wasn’t a high priority of the WSB.

So after considering different options, Sonny had an associate create fake papers for Dev. And that where Gladys came in. She was a cousin from Mike Corbin’s side of the family so the papers Sonny had made up that said Dev was Gladys’ grandson. So Sonny paid her handsomely and Dev came to live with Sonny and his family.

General Hospital Spoilers – Gladys Corbin started spending time with Mike

At some point shortly afterward, Gladys reconnected with Mike and she started visiting him at Turning Woods. Over the holidays, Mike asked Sonny to let Gladys stay at The Corinthos compound during the festivities. Gladys has made herself quite at home at Sonny’s Her last visit coincided with an attack on one of Sonny’s trucks. And Gladys is acting oddly, asking to see Sonny’s warehouse. Sonny’s wife, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) thought it was a strange request, but agreed to stop by the warehouse with Gladys.

Gladys’ shady behavior has led some fans to believe that she is providing inside information to someone. And all indications seem to point to this being the same person or persons targeting Sonny.
