General Hospital Spoilers: Gregory And Alexis’ Gruesome Discovery, Diane Dies?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease following the publication of the Port Charles Hook story and Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) soliciting the killer’s contact there’ll be a gruesome discovery. She and Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) find another victim, and the killer has made sure the victims don’t survive; it’s Alexis’ close friend and former law partner Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy).

General Hospital Spoilers – That’s Not What She Wanted

They find Diane outside the office of the Invader, and not sure how long she’d been there; unfortunately she’s unconscious, and there’s a bizarre note with letters cut and pasted. Like a kidnapping note from a film noir, it says “you wanted to hear from me; here’s a gift, I hope you enjoy it!” Alexis is distraught and Gregory knows there’s a real psycho at work, and he calls for help; they know from what happened to Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) she may die.

Brando’s autopsy showed there was a slow acting toxin of some sort likely on the hook when it was used. Chances are, Diane has the same toxin in her body and there’s blood coming out of her mouth; Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) told his father in confidence about the toxin.

GH Spoilers – Another Attack Too Close To Home

Alexis usually doesn’t scare easily, but Diane’s attack hits too close to home; however, it provides valuable clues to the possible identity of the perp. Now Alexis and Gregory know that it must be someone who knows Alexis and Diane were at least partners, but likely knows that they are close friends. They also know that the attacker reads The Invader, and dumping Diane at the door makes it personal – too personal; Gregory notes Alexis’ former partnership with Diane would be public knowledge. Alexis begins to regret going forward with her idea to appeal to the ego of the criminal to get him or her to make contact. Gregory tells her she must not blame herself for what happened to Diane.

General Hospital Spoilers – Hamilton Finn Tries To Find An Antidote

Finn never thought he’d be rushing to try to find an antidote as hard as he worked to find one for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). A sample of Diane’s blood is taken as soon as she’s rushed into surgery so Finn can analyze it and see if the same toxin is found as was in Brando. Unfortunately it is, and there is no record of its molecular makeup so apparently it’s custom made and no one is blackmailing for an antidote.

There were already traces of blood near Diane’s lips when Gregory and Alexis found her, and the toxin has already done its deadly work. All Finn can do is keep working to try and develop an antidote for the next victim, and hope it’s not too late like it was for Diane.
