General Hospital Spoilers: Haley Pullos Surrenders To Authorities, Will Kristen Vaganos Be Replaced?

General Hospital (GH) reveal that Kristen Varganos stars as Molly Lansing Davis, a role previously held by Haley Pullos before her DUI arrest in May 2023.
Last month Pullos pleaded no contest to the charge after a previous plea of not guilty. In light of the resolution of this matter, GH fans are speculating about Pullos’ possible return to the ABC soap. Here’s what we know so far.
General Hospital Spoilers – Will Haley Pullos Return?
Pullos has been sentenced to 90 days in jail, put on probation, and given community service plus a fine. She was driving on the wrong side of the freeway when she ran head on into another car, injuring the driver.
Both vehicles were totaled and Pullos later went to rehab; alcohol and marijuana were found in Pullos’ car. Pullos was also ordered to pay $8,260 to the victim, Courtney Wilder.
People.com reports that Pullos was to be sentenced in July but her lawyer, Mark Daniel Melnick, issued a statement that on Monday, April 29th the actress surrendered herself to authorities and began serving her sentence.
He stated: “Haley is very grateful to the court for a minimum sentence and for recognizing her remorse and the strides she has made in her sobriety.”
Haley Pullos Serving Time
After her arrest, GH fired Pullos. Kristen Vaganos is now in the role of Molly Lansing Davis and has won legions of fans for her take on the character. What will happen now that Pullos’ situation has moved past the trial phase?
Understandably, GH fans want to know if Vaganos will be replaced by Pullos once she has served her time. Neither Pullos, Vaganos, nor GH have issued any statements.
Haley Pullos Is In Jail
Time will tell if there is a casting change, but Vaganos has done an outstanding job of portraying the complicated character.
Molly is in the middle of two dilemmas: waiting for her sister to give birth to her and husband TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) baby, and possibly having to prosecute Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

No the new Molly should not be replaced.Haley Pulos should not come back .
I hope with all my heart that they replace the young woman playing Molly. She had no facial expressions, she speaks in a monotone that is mind-numbing. And half the time she just seems clueless. I’m sure she is a delightful person, and that there are roles out there that she’s perfect for….. unfortunately this just isn’t it.
Hope Haley gets the help she needs and I wouldn’t mind if she did come back. I also have gotten used to the new Molly and like her to.
I’d love for Haley to come back. She went to rehab and doing her time. She deserves a second chance. You don’t just dump someone because they have a problem especially if they are helping themselves. I’m sorry never liked any of the new “Molly’s” love our Haley’s Molly. Also she had great chemistry with TJ this one not so much
I hope the old Molly comes back and can do her time and learn.
As much as I liked Haley as Molly, no – I don’t believe Kristen, who is doing a fine job, should have to leave so Haley can return. What Haley did could have killed innocent people, and losing this job should be part of a hard and lasting lesson for her! I do hope she gets sober and gets another chance-just not at GH.
I love Haley and was (am) heartbroken about her whole situation. I’m glad she seems to be working hard to get it together. She deserves another chance and I’d love to see her on screen again. BUT, I DON’T believe Kristin should be let go just because Haley might be available again. Kristin is doing a great job and after the 2 failed recasts, she had a lot to prove. So, UNLESS it was stipulated in writing when she was hired, that it might be a temporary role, when and if Haley was ever able to come back, it would be terribly unfair and just wrong to let her go. It kinda reminds me of the downright DESPICABLE way Y&R dumoed the FABULOUS Gina Toglioni as Phyllis, just because Michelle Stafford was available and wanted to go back.
No Haley should not be hired back! Kristen Vaganos should continue to play the role! She is doing a fantastic job.
