Michael’s (Chad Duell) baby is alive and was adopted by Lucas (Ryan Carnes). Nelle doesn’t want the secret getting out, claiming that she feels good her son will be raised in a loving home.
Many felt that Nelle might be coming back, at least for a little run, after it came out that Michael was named his own son’s godfather. However, for now, Obrecht will keep the secret under wraps. ABC spokesperson revealed that while Lanier is not returning at this point, her return “was a definite possibility.”
General Hospital Spoilers – Chloe Lanier Loves Popping Up On GH
Chloe said that she is thrilled that GH has her recur as Nelle every now and then. She admits that she loves the show and the GH fans. And, she is grateful for everything the show has given her. The Daytime Emmy award winner shocked the GH fanbase when she chose not to renew her contract last year. She said that she had only planned on staying on contract for two years.
Lanier said that while on contract, she rarely had the opportunity to do other shows. She explained GH’s taping schedule is strange and, while they have a lot of days off, there isn’t enough downtime for her to commit to another project.

General Hospital Spoilers – Time For A Permanent Nelle Comeback?
Chloe said that she is committed to bringing the viewers more Nelle scenes as long as she isn’t busy with another project. She did have a warning to the fans though—don’t call Nelle crazy. She said that Nelle isn’t crazy, instead, she is a narcissist. But Lanier believes as horrible as Nelle is, she still loves her child very much and that is why she swapped the babies.

Nelle doesn’t bring anything new or interesting to the table. Obrect knows the baby switch story, so we don’t need Nelle for anything else. Nelle doesn’t LOVE anyone!! She only wanted to keep Jonah from Michael and his family. She doesn’t want Carly to “win”.
